The accomodation shares the same building as the pub however it wasn’t noisy at all at night. The breakfast provided in the morning was halal friendly (for the case of any Muslim visitor). Bathrooms/toilets are shared but no issues on that (only issue is on the cleanliness but they are shared after all). Great hospitality by the receptionist. A great stay after all!

Shared bathrooms are dirty and no proper cleaning service. Got expired bread items for the continental breakfast (not at all satisfactory) that made us skip eating breakfast there. Unfriendly staff. Totally unhappy with this room stay. Not at all recommended.

Fine historic Hotel from a bygone era! Christie is an awesome hostess and though I did not actually eat a meal there, the meals looked and smelled wonderful( I had already eaten before arrival)! Quiet peaceful sleep, wonderful wood stove heat for the dining room/bar area. Nice surprise, breakfast included!

We stayed in the campground overnight and did one of the walking trails. The staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. We had an amazing coffee and chat, and had a wonderful dinner and local bubbles. Recommend a stopover to anyone; in fact alter your travels for a visit!
