Hotel it's self was fine, however certain members of staff where very rude, arrived first night with young children to be told the chef wouldn't feed us as our group was to large, yet advertises restaurant on the hotel booking. Both mornings at breakfast to be greeted by rude staff, table given away to people behind us as we waited for our children to come out of the toilet. 2nd morning told there was upto a 35 minute wait for a table even though there was empty tables in the restaurant asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere to eat as we had a family day out planned to be told no as they where still offering us the option. Hotel it's self was clean and tidy but just out of the rudeness of certain staff would not return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Premier Inn, Wells. A very comfortable stay within a short 15 min stroll to the city centre. The staff were very friendly and the food was of a high standard. Onsite Car parking of £7 was a little steep especially for a longer stay. As the bedroom windows were designed not to open, personally, it felt a little claustrophobic. Although the room was sparsely furnished it was very comfortable.

We have just returned from a three day stay at the Premier Inn in Wells. We were greeted upon arrival by Luke on reception, who was very friendly and efficient. The room was spotless and everything you would expect from the Premier Inn. We were made to feel very welcome in the restarant by Louis (Louie). Nothing was too much trouble for him, and went out of his way to make sure we were well catered for. The chef, Ray was a bundle of fun, and his food was excellent. On our third night, Josh was on restaurant duty, he too was very friendly and efficient. We had a good rapor with the staff, so much so, on our departure, Louis (Louie) on his day off when passing the hotel, noticed we were leaving. He ran across the grass and jumped over a fence to shake hands and wish us a safe journey home. Where else would you receive service on this scale. Well done Premier Inn and I would highly recommend for a stay when visiting Wells.

This is a great location for City Access. It's clean, practical, good parking and breakfast was lovely. The restaurant is what I expected for the type of hotel, but we wanted to go into town for dinner. Premier Inn provide a good, clean, practical solution to a city break weekend at affordable price. Well worth the stay...15 min walk to city centre and easy to get too. Was also able to leave car in Premier Inn car park next day, as we went sightseeing. Good value and service overall. G.

It was our second stay together at the Premier Inn in Wells.... and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time we went there. The rooms are clean and comfortable, dinner and breakfast were very good, and the staff is friendly. We had another great encountere with our all time favourite cook, Ray. He sure is an extra ray of sunshine there. Absolutely had a great stay and we will for sure return here soon whenever we are going to be in Wells again.

Having stayed here around 14 months ago and thought the hotel was great this time the rooms are even better. Stayed in a Premier Plus room for a few pounds more and very much worth it. Rooms are spotlessly clean and quiet. Was delighted to see that Ray was still here as the chef; breakfast was awesome. When you’re n an early start nothing lifts your morning more than someone who’s happy, chatty (without being overbearing) but can cook what’s probably the best breakfast around. Worth a visit for the food alone. Will definitely be back.

We were on a road trip for my birthday. This was the 2nd Premier Inn we stayed at. First thoughts were hmmm not sure. Opposite industrial estate on main road. How wrong were we? We were given room 210 which had a view of the cathedral in the background. Parking £7 for 24 hours. Within stumbling distance of the Wetherspoons which was cheaper than back home. Room huge with a bath. Breakfast fabulous. Highly recommend.

I stayed here for a few days, and it was lovely. All the staff were amazing and helpful. A great nights sleep, so quiet and perfect to unwind. Restaurant ran smoothly, with good food. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely return. ……………..
