Beautiful and historic
eveything excellent except beds had no padding on the mattress and it was like sleeping on a box spring

Lovely stay
Was a lovely stay for a friends wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble. The customer service was 10/10 so friendly and hospitable. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Breakfast was lovely and freshly made

Lovely setting and grounds
Really liked the hotel architecture and grounds. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast options for vegans. Quiet and comfortable setting. Some of the furniture in the room could do with an upgrade as some tired and stained. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner around taps and shower basin.

Our stay was excellent! the building is set in a lovely quiet area at the edge of the village, and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Excellent quality at a great price.
We had a really lovely weekend at the Old Rectory. Large room, quiet and warm. Breakfast was excellent. All the staff were really nice.
A mix up with the booking was dealt with very efficiently by the person on the desk (Natalie, I think). She sorted everything out and we were made to feel very welcome.
Easy walk into the town, which has an Indian restaurant, other takeaways and a few pubs with food and beer.
