Shaoguan Longtai Wengshanyuan Hot Spring City

This was a rather unsatisfactory stay. The welcome fruit was moldy, and the soundproofing in the hotel room was terrible. The noise from people splashing in the swimming channel late at night (from midnight to past 1 AM) made it impossible to sleep. The room's facilities and layout were also disappointing. The bed space was sufficient for my family, but the overall arrangement was really hard to describe. There was only one toilet and one shower room in the room, and the toilet was tiny, without even a washbasin inside. Every time we used the toilet, we had to go to the washbasin in the living room to wash our hands (as the only washbasin was located there). There was also very little space for guests to put luggage, just a small spot to the right of the entrance. Seating was also inadequate; there was a desk, but no chair, so it was impossible to sit down and write something. While there were plenty of entertainment facilities, I felt the hygiene needed improvement. They mostly smelled strongly of disinfectant, which was quite pungent. The hot spring pools were also very lacking; it was hard to even find water to drink after soaking. The only slightly better part was the swimming channel; the water was cleaner than at the water park, the disinfectant smell wasn't as strong, and the water quality was decent. I didn't experience any adverse reactions after swimming.

We chose this resort in Shaoguan for a summer trip with the kids, and it exceeded all expectations! The most impressive part was the swimming canal that winds through the entire complex – you could just open your door and jump right in to play in the water, which thrilled the kids. There were so many water park attractions, we couldn't even try them all. In the evening, a dip in the unique hot springs melted away all our fatigue. Everything from dining to accommodation to activities was all taken care of in one place, so there was no need to rush between different sights. Both adults and children were completely satisfied. I highly recommend it to all the moms in Guangdong!

We booked the Boy's Starry Sky family room, which had direct access to the swimming lane and a slide in the room – the kids absolutely loved it! The hotel also features a water park and hot springs, and the breakfast was excellent. The only downside was the shower stall; the water barrier wasn't effective, so after a shower, there was a big puddle of water all over the bathroom floor.

This hotel is fantastic for kids! Mine absolutely loved the water park and didn't want to leave, having a blast with their water gun. Our butler, Asen, provided excellent service! He even gave my child a small toy, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The family room with a slide that we booked was absolutely amazing! Our butler, Ah Sen, provided exceptional service throughout our stay, helping us plan our itinerary so we could truly relax and enjoy ourselves. The room had its own slide, so the kids could play inside, and it opened directly onto the swimming channel. The hot spring water was so smooth, and after soaking, my child slept incredibly well. They didn't want to leave on the second day! We'll definitely be back with the kids again. 😄

The private hot springs in the guest rooms offer great privacy, making for a very pleasant stay. All staff members provide warm and attentive service; my first impression upon entering was how friendly and greeting everyone was. Many room types come with private hot springs, and the service is thoughtful. The shuttle bus is available on call, making it perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends, especially since it's only about a 2-hour drive. The food is delicious, and the night views with the lighting are absolutely stunning.

Highly recommend the Longtai Ongsan Won Hot Spring Hotel! Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The front desk and staff were all super friendly, and the service was meticulous and thoughtful. Both the hot springs and the family-friendly facilities were excellent, and our whole family had a blast. The butler service was an added bonus!

Worth every penny bringing the kids to Wengshan Gen this weekend! The lakeside villa we booked was fantastic! You can open the balcony door and jump right into the swimming lane, and the room comes with its own private hot spring pool. After a fun day, you can relax in the hot spring. The kids had a blast, and the adults got to unwind too. The sea battle themed water park was so much fun the little ones didn't want to leave. Our butler, Ah Sen, provided excellent service and arrangements. We'll definitely be back!
