I have read a lot of comments now and cannot understand how to evaluate this hotel only approachingly with less than 4 stars ! The hotel is great ! Both the individual apartments in the outdoor houses (which we could easily exchange for a room in the house) and the entire facility, the hotel, just everything! Here she has given the owner so great effort and put a really great concept or a great facility on the legs ! The staff in the whole house is incredibly nice and premature ! Breakfast has everything you need and is constantly fresh and varied ! No matter whether wellness area , outdoor facilities or rooms, everything is clean and modern , you feel very well ! We travel a lot across the world and this hotel has a super price-performance ratio! Ps. At the size of the facility, it can once The fact that you have to wait a little while or the breakfast room is a little more full, to assess something like that as “bad” is not understandable for me! Very good location for excursions at Havel, Potsdam and surroundings. Rooms are perfect for excursors. The check-in and check-out is completely uncomplicated. Very friendly staff. Always helpful and has good tips. We're happy to come back.

Der Hotelkomplex des „Vienna House by Wyndham Havelufer Potsdam” liegt nahe am Havelufer und lädt in relative ruhiger Umgebung zum Verweilen ein. Allerdings sind einige der Zimmer eher einfach eingerichtet und verströmen lediglich durch mehrere Holzbalken als Gestaltungselemente in den Zimmern etwas Flair. Als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in Potsdam ist das Hotel nahe der Straßenbahnlinie S91 und dem Bahnhof Potsdam Charlottenhof gut geeignet, für längere Aufenthalte würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Ich war im September 2023 zu Gast in dem Hotel und hatte Doppelzimmer 215 zugeteilt bekommen. Das Zimmer liegt im ehemals als Korn-Speicher genutzten und jetzt umfunktionierten Hoteltrakt mit Blick auf eine rückwärtige Grünfläche und die Außen-Terrasse eines italienischen Restaurants. Dieses wird offenbar recht gut besucht – entsprechender Unterhaltungslärm war bei gutem Wetter abends in unserem Zimmer bis Restaurantschließung (Mitternacht) bei geöffnetem Fenster zu hören. Das Zimmer hatte eine einfache funktionale Ausstattung mit einem kleinen Doppelbett (gute Matratzen), Wandlehne mit zwei Abstell-Brettern (als Nachttisch-Ersatz), Tisch, ein Stuhl, Telefon, Fernseher, Spiegelgestell mit acht Kleiderhaken und zwei Schubladen (als Schrankersatz…) und der Möglichkeit, einen kleinen Koffer abzustellen. Durch ein Rundbogenfenster hatte man einen Ausblick auf die Grünfläche hinter dem Hotel. Das Badezimmer hatte eher den Charakter eines Jugendherberg-Bades mit einem Waschbecken (wie man sie oft auf Raststätten-Toiletten findet) und einer Duschecke mit Plastikvorhang. Daneben beengt: die Toilette. Seifengel und Shampoo-Fläschchen standen bereit. Recht gut empfand ich das Büfett-Frühstück, dass im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Grünbereich und Zugang zu einer Außenterrasse (mit Tischen und Stühlen) angerichtet war. An beiden Tagen meines Aufenthaltes herrschte gutes Wetter, so dass Frühstück auf der Terrasse im Freien möglich war. Hätte man die nichts nutzen können an den Tagen, wäre es im eigentlichen Restaurantbereich zu Wartezeiten gekommen, wenn das Hotel gut ausgelastet ist. Wartezeiten gab es auch an der nur einen (langsam arbeitenden) Kaffeemaschine. Fertiger Filterkaffee in kleinen Kannen stand bereit, die „langsame“ Kaffeemaschine bot auch Cappu, Latte und Co. Die Frühstückauswahl war gut, alles da: Verschiedene Wurstauflagen, Käse, Marmeladen, Obst, Joghurts, Eier-Variationen, Brot, Brötchen und Croissants, Cerealien, Säfte, Wasser und sogar Sekt. Zwei Fahrstühle bieten im Hotel gute Zugangsmöglichkeiten zu den Zimmern auf den vier Stockwerken. Außen gibt es im Freien eine Raucherecke mit Outdoor-Sofa. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle S 91 ist nahe dem Einfahrtsbereich des Hotels an der Zeppelinstraße und schnell erreichbar. Bis zum Bahnhof Potsdam-Charlottenhof sind es 6 - 7 Gehminuten. We stayed in the ”More space” apartment on the sixth floor. The apartment is really spacious and comfortable. Inside there is a table with four chairs, a bathroom with toilet and washing, another bathroom with shower, Washing and washing floors for towels and others, a kitchen with induction floor and washing machine, a comfortable bed with two single pillows, a large chair and a pump. The cleaning is good, but take care that the cleaning during the stay is payable. The towels are changed every 2-3 day. The kitchen is provided with salt, pepper, sugar and washing pills. 👍🏻 U-Bahn station is reachable through the street. Very comfortable to move. Furthermore, there are many restaurants and shops nearby, although I don't recommend baking-padding on the other side of the street. The supermarket (closed Sunday) is almost attacked. We have been very good. Only small bads the excessive heat and poor washing.

We stayed two nights. The hotel is situated in a historic building next to the Brandenburger Tor in Potsdam and close to the pedestrian area. The structure dates back to 1736 and the hotel opened in 2010 after an extensive restoration. The location is very good, close to the pedestrian area and excellent public transport. The hotel has a few parking places in the courtyard, but most guests have to park in the public garage at Luisenplatz. As the hotel is an old structure with a number of extensions, access to some of the rooms is a pretty long walk. Although lifts have been installed, many guests still have to overcome some rather narrow and steep stairs. So getting things in and out was not easy and no help was offered. Our room was clean and quiet. It was spacious and with most of the amenities you would expect, such as comfortable beds and a safe, but no coffee machine. The bathroom was new and very good. Breakfast was good without being excellent, and restocking of some items a bit slow.

Das charaktervolle Gebäude liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Schloss Sanssouci und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Perfekte Voraussetzungen für einen wunderbaren Kurzurlaub. Leider gibt es deutliche Servicemängel. Bei meiner telefonischen Reservierung wurde nicht erwähnt, dass es sich bei dem uns zugedachten Zimmer um das Turmzimmer handelte, was nur durch eine dreistöckige Treppe zu erreichen ist. Ich hätte in dem Fall auf einer Unterbringung im 1. Stock gedrängt. Drei Stockwerke ohne Aufzug sind für Gäste mit Hüftleiden schon eine Herausforderung. Mit letzter Kraft am späten Abend im Zimmer angekommen, mussten wir feststellen, dass das Zimmer nicht über eine Klimaanlage verfügte und sich stark aufgeheizt hatte. Ein kastenförmiger, nicht in Betrieb genommener Ventilator stand in einer Ecke. Wir öffneten die Fenster und schalteten das Gerät ein, dass ein nicht unbeträchtliches Geräusch verursachte (wie Starkregen bei geöffnetem Fenster) Gottseidank sind wir nicht geräuschempfindlich, da wir zur Wärmeregulierung die ganze Nacht das Gerät angeschaltet lassen mussten. Die nächste Überraschung war, dass unser Gepäck nicht in unser Zimmer befördert worden war. Wir waren um die Mittagszeit angereist, als das Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfähig war und hatten unser Gepäck im an die Rezeption angrenzenden Konferenzraum abgestellt. Als ich dann auf Koffersuche gegen 23:00 Uhr die Treppen zur Rezeption erneut heruntermarschiert war, musste ich feststellen, dass die Räume abgeschlossen waren. Da die Rezeption ab 22:00 Uhr nicht besetzt war, konnte ich mich auch an niemanden wenden. Ich stieg unverrichteter Dinge wieder ins Turmzimmer hoch und suchte in unseren Unterlagen und im Zimmer nach einer Notrufnummer – vergebens. Im Zimmer selbst befand sich keine Info-Mappe. Bei der Begrüßung wurde uns ein Umschlag mit einem Konvolut an Flyern und Prospekten überreicht, mit einem Willkommensbrief, der allerdings ebenfalls keine Notrufnummer erhielt. Auch am Telefon selbst lag keine Liste. Ich schrieb einen Zettel an die Servicekräfte, man möge uns das Gepäck am Morgen vor die Tür stellen ging wieder runter zur Tür zur Rezeption und ließ ihn dort zurück. Danach legten wir uns nolens volens in Straßenklamotten in die Betten. Wäschewechsel, Medikamenteneinnahme und Zähneputzen fielen aus. Am nächsten Morgen fanden wir immer noch nicht unser Gepäck vor der Tür, sodass ich das selber erledigen musste. Ich fand zwar keinen Mitarbeiter in der Rezeption, dafür immerhin unser Gepäck, was noch am selben Ort stand. Die Mitarbeiter im Frühstücksraum sagten mir, dass sie überall nach dem Gepäck gesucht, es aber nicht gefunden hätten. Nachdem sich das Management auf diesen Vorfall nicht rührte, hielt ich es für angebracht, beim Check-Out dem diensthabenden Mitarbeiter noch einmal darauf hinzuweisen. Das man etwas vergessen kann (Gepäck ins Zimmer zu bringen) ist die eine Sache, die ich nicht sonderlich dramatisch finde, dass man ab 22:00 Uhr jedoch niemand mehr erreichen kann, insbesondere
