Nice little hotel with a good breakfast and friendly restaurant staff. Well-situated, walkable from the station and the town centre. Ground-floor rooms are a bit pokey since the front door is the only window. And "balcony" means a table in a shared courtyard - no privacy and the restaurant terrace is noisy. Receptionist is a minimalist with better things to do.

This hotel is very central, a mere 10 minute walk to the Harz Schmalspurbah /DB railway station. There is secure parking 100m away which is charged. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is excellent with wide and varied choice. Certainly worth considering when staying in Wernigerode and I’d definitely return.

The hotel is situated on the northeast end of Breite Straße, the main street of Wernigerode and it is not far from the main train station. The room is comfortable but the room window is facing the hotel inner courtyard which is also used as the outdoor dining area for the hotel restaurant so it can be a little bit noisy in the early evening but it is all quiet at night. Wi-fi is good. I like the breakfast here. There are several selections to choose from, both hot and cold items. The hotel reception access is on Grüne Straße which is a side street off Breite Straße but in the morning it can be difficult to find a staff at the reception.

Wir haben das Restaurant getestet und spontan noch einen Platz bekommen. Die Bedienungen sind Asiaten und sehr freundlich. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Würzfleisch, welches sehr lecker war. Leider war ich mit meinem Schweineschnitzel gar nicht zufrieden. Es war sehr dünn und die Konsistenz merkwürdig. Ich wusste anfangs nicht, ob es Huhn, Schwein oder vielleicht die vegane Variante war. Daher einen Punkt Abzug.

Tolles Restaurant mit super Gerichten. Die Schnitzelauswahl ist toll. Die Portionen sind riesig und echt lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist kombiniert in alt und neu, sehr schön.Ohne Reservierung ist es schwierig, einen Tisch zu bekommen.

Nettes Hotel in uralten, mittelalterlichen Gemäuer, daher leichte und verständliche Einschränkungen. Trotzdem ein extrem Charmantes Hotel , zentral im mittelalterlichen Zentrum diese malerischen Städtchens. Sehr gutes Frühstück und das Restaurant bietet am Abend eine leckere Schnitzelauswahl (und mehr…). Mein Bett war mir etwas zu weich, aber das Zimmer war komplett ausgestattet und sauber. Witzig war die bauartbedingte Treppe zwischen den beiden Betten. Gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist nicht so gut wie es auf den Bildern aussieht. In 4 min. fertig auf dem Tisch kann nicht funktionieren. Die Bratkartoffeln waren nicht einmal angebraten. Die Sauberkeit und auch der Service sind aber okay. Ansonsten sollte man einen Tisch reservieren.

Geht hier bloß nicht hin!! Mein Partner und ich haben hier nur gegessen. Speisen: Leber nach Berliner Art und den Apfelstrudel mit Vanilleeis und Sahne (schmeckte komisch daher nicht aufgegessen) Das hat dann auch schon gereicht! Wir kommen aus Berlin und wir haben es kaum zurück geschafft, da ich am Abend bereits mit Schüttelfrost, Fieber und Durchfall zu kämpfen hatte. Auf der Rückreise durfte ich mich dann im Zug - hab’s nicht mal mehr zur Toilette geschafft; Tüte musste reichen, schwallartig mehrfach übergeben, sodass uns dann in Werder nichts anderes als Aussteigen blieb. Durchfall und Erbrechen hielten sich hartnäckig! Ich konnte nun 2 Tage nicht mal Flüssigkeit (Wasser/Tee) bei mir behalten. Schüttelfrost, Fieber, Gliederschmerzen und Lethargie haben mich komplett ausgelaugt. Ich rate jedem dringendst von diesem Interblissement ab!!!

Wir waren zum Essen da, alles war prima. Würden wir wieder machen. Schnitzel und Salat waren wirklich empfehlenswert. Die Preise passen und man kann gegen Aufpreis eine wirklich große Portion bekommen. Eine Reservierung war erforderlich, es war voll.
