Very comfortable and clean. Good location below the castle with access to a footpath going up to the castle. 10 minute walk to centre. Lovely garden. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Only negative was the house next door which is being renovated. Lots of early noise but this will pass.

Nothing will disturb your sleep here.Located opposite a former royal garden, the hotel was once the residence of the administrator. The staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is a bit disappointing after the buildup it is given. The coffee bears little resemblance to the real thing.

The hotel is OK. The house itself is beautiful! However, it could be decorated a little more lovingly and tastefully. It starts with the unimaginative white color in the entrance area, then the old carpets in the rooms... if anyone here has allergies, it's very unfortunate. The breakfast buffet is nicely presented. However, we missed the variety of bread rolls, a few freshly squeezed fruit juices, yogurt and a selection of regional honey. Otherwise, everything was very clean and tidy. We might come back again.

Well-kept property and building just outside the old city walls, the center can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. Easy to get to without having to drive through the entire city. Free parking directly at the property. Elevator available (I personally love the spiral staircase in the tower). Beautiful, cozy, clean rooms with minibar. Delicious breakfast with a large selection of all kinds of cold cuts, smoked fish, sweet and savory spreads, lots of fruit, various ingredients for muesli to mix yourself. This always got the day off to a great start and you could start exploring the beautiful Harz region. Very friendly, helpful staff. Was there for the second time and definitely not the last.

The hotel is very quiet, although a bit far from the market square. We liked room 17, the beds were comfortable with high-quality pillows. Breakfast in the blue or red salon was pleasant, the food selection was good, with quality tea from Ronnefeld and rock candy. There is something for everyone. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces right next to the building. If we come to Wernigerode again, we will definitely choose the Erbprinzenpalais again Carlo & Andrée Bernard

We had a lovely room with a balcony and minibar. The hotel building is a dream - you really do feel like a nobleman. Located between the old town and the castle, it offers free parking, a great breakfast and friendly staff.

We spent 3 nights here to celebrate the New Year in beautiful Wernigerode. The hotel is well equipped and at first glance appears cozy and clean, although a little dated. The staff is courteous and friendly. We were a little disappointed with the junior suite we booked. It was big enough, even with a separate toilet in the bathroom, but for our taste it was a little poorly furnished. The walls looked very bare. In addition, the beds were very hard and the wardrobe kept opening on its own. The dust on the lamps, the wardrobe and especially on the back edge of the couch was repulsive. And then you find a note in the room saying that due to the special hygiene regulations in the hotel industry, the rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every departure. We doubt that now. We had expected a little more. What a pity. Outside of the room, however, we were very satisfied with the service and the good, varied breakfast.

The hotel is quietly located on the edge of the old town, there are plenty of parking spaces, and you can walk to the center in six minutes. The rooms are solid and well furnished, classic hotel standard. Very friendly staff, everything is spotlessly clean. The breakfast is exceptionally good. My personal benchmark for this is the sausage :-) There is real cold cuts here, not plastic sausage from the discounter. If you stay here, you won't go wrong.

I had expected a little more from a junior suite, especially since the price was €139.00 one day and €159.00 the next. The room wasn't exactly comfortable, with no balcony and only a shower (no bath). No kettle or similar. The hotel description mentions a bar. This consists of two stools in the entrance area at reception and a self-service fridge. Breakfast is sufficient, but not particularly original. Some of the picture frames in the house are damaged. Everything seems a little worn, although relatively clean. To be honest, many cheaper hotels offer more comfort and service in the house, since there is no restaurant. I don't need that again.
