During a visit too the travel lodge in Wellington, the lady on reception was really friendly and professional, her name was Nikki, she was quite helpful and approachable…. Deffo deserves a pay rise, good conversation skills, Have too put 200 letters, think we’re there now! :)

Over the past few months I have spent several weekend sleeping at Wellington Travelodge. I have been warmly welcomed every time by the reception team. A special shout out to Trudy who this week helped accommodate my right handed room requests. Yes, not a joke, as the table is fixed to the wall, if you want to work on your laptop using the table and watch the TV the different rooms layouts favour a different dominant side! The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. I have slept well all of my stays. As an ‘A’ road resident, the road side room noise was the norm for me, but others may find the early traffic, particularly during the working week, noticeable. All staff have been very helpful and friendly. I’m already booked in for my next stay.

We stay at Travelodge a quite a lot and have stayed at the Wellington one a few times. It is always very clean and has a lovely comfortable bed. The room is quite stark but has everything you need including coffee and tea with a kettle and cups. You can also refresh these yourself from reception. Trudy, on reception, was particularly helpful, with lots of information and a lovely warm welcoming personality. She also supplied us with extra towels and a hairdryer for the room! Thank you Trudy! Hotel was very well maintained, room and bathroom was clean. The staff were extremely friendly. Check-in and check-out was easy and hassle free. The immediate location of this hotel is great, with a pub, petrol station, lots of food chains (McDonald's, Greggs, subway etc) all a two minute walk away. Always stay at a travelodge when I go away for the weekend and always satisfied with my stay.

Very adequate room. Lovely bed! I slept really well! Everything was clean and meticulous. One suggestion (maybe two): a facecloth would be a nice addition to the towel set (even if it’s by request only). A set of shelves would be very helpful. I can’t reach the shelf above the hanging space. A shelf in the shower would be nice to place shampoo bottles, etc., instead of reaching to the sink each time and water getting on the floor. Maybe an idea for future renovation when the time comes? A shelf could be molded/recessed into the shower panel. Trudy was very helpful and pleasant on Tuesday evening. Thank you, Trudy!
