Very good hotel, good environment, good service, a small beach, clean swimming pool. We booked a one-price package with three meals included, and the food was very good and it felt very worthwhile.

Pros: The hotel is in a good location, the sunset is beautiful, the plants are beautiful, like a big garden. The soaj is very comfortable, facing the sea. Cons: The room facilities are a bit old, the service is average, the mini bar and sunset wine in the room are charged items, the signs are not clear, we thought they were free items, and the cost of calling a taxi for the guests is very high. Stayed at Zanzi resort for 4 nights as part of honeymoon on Zanzibar. Had villa 6 which is one of the villas with private pool and beach access. Room was clean and had the expected amenities. The chefs are amazing and we were genuinely blown away with each meal. The chicken soup and red snapper were delicious. Honestly the food was spectacular. Watching the bush babies feed during the dinner service was also a nice treat. Would like to thank Abdul, Geofrey (our waiters) and the one female server who we can't remember the name of - they were all very friendly and attentive. Visited Cheetah's Rock as this is very close which was a very worthwhile experience. There is not much else to do in the immediate vicinity so would recommend spending a few nights here and going to the other side of the island. Only minor issues we had were occasional power cuts with loss of wifi (the website does mention this) and loss of water due to a pump issue on the final day but this was rectified quickly.

Amazing Resort!
Thank you for everything! We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and had a lovely dinner at the beach! Everything was amazing, so friendly staff and exellent food and service!

Zanzi resort is a veritable corner of paradise in a setting of calm and pleasure ! A big thanks to the whole staff. The team is very kind, attentive and professional it was a magical stay and we'll be delighted to go back. we highly recommend it!
