I must admit when we come to FL we love to be near the water but we discovered this new property by default and what a pleasant surprise. It looks like the golf and tennis facilities could be a big plus but that is not on our radar. The multiple pools are wonderful and you can feel the newness of the property. The plus is that it is also an Autograph which we love the “vibe” of the Autograph properties. What was also appreciated was the pre-pandemic luxuries of turndown service and nightly chocolates….something we haven’t seen anywhere in the last few years either in the USA or international. Kudos and 5+ stars to Ryan/concierge who navigated us through several questions and couldn’t have been more of an advocate for the property and its brand. Also thank you to Jacob at the front desk and Jamaria at the cafe who was helpful in recommending her favorite cookie to me (and I love sweets)… We can’t wait to visit the property again. Our only possible helpful hints to anyone reading this review might be that because the property is landlocked it may get very hot in the summer and not have the ocean breeze cooling one down. The other issue I have is I wish the resort fee and mandatory valet fee would be combined in one fee. We do look forward to revisiting the beautiful new The Belgrove. It was a wonderful experience

Just an average property. Don’t spend $500 a night here. There are way better choices in the area like Singer Island properties with plenty of availability. And, as a lifetime platinum member with Marriott, I have experience traveling in FL and grew up here in Palm Beach. You have to credit the ownership for taking a huge risk at this location. And if you’re invested here, you need to get out and come back in ten years, or until they clean up the area. If you know anything about this location you probably wouldn’t “stroll” outside the wrought iron gate, even to get to the outlet mall, which I choose not to shop at anymore, preferring to drive the extra 15 min to the Gardens Mall. Any investor that tries to sell you on any property “nestled” along Lake Mangonia has never been here, is trying way too hard, and hasn’t ever had their marketing department here for a visit. You can “nestle” the hotel next to this lake, all day long and it still feels like you are isolated on a tropical island in Harlem. You are actually one half a mile away from the lake, because if you were closer you would have the smell of the polluted water wafting over the beautiful four pools. But if you like Harlem…welcome to a way over priced “resort” that tacks on a resort fee for being as far from a resort as the broken down cruise ship that sails to the Bahamas from the port near here. And the valet parking charge is a joke. Since you can’t fool investors that know anything about the area to buy here, you’re paying a premium to park on a paved swamp where I used to hunt. And as every local knows, you can park in the dirt nearby and save yourself $50. But they will ticket you for parking on their “private” property. Welcome to NY in FL. COME ON PEOPLE this is Palm Beach! Please tell me you don’t think that by buying the Marriott brand and advertising a “resort” in West Palm Beach that you can fool throngs of people to come here. You can’t drop a resort, much less a golf course, in the middle of the slums of West Palm Beach, put up a fence, hire an awesome chef and call it a resort. There is a reason why the property isn’t developed yet and why every golf course and club for the last 25 years has failed here! It sort of makes me feel sad for the employees who work extremely hard probably not realizing that management will drive them crazy trying to make up for the poor business decision to locate a way overpriced Marriott branded hotel in this location. Anyway…I got the feeling that I was secluded on a very nice tropical island. It is Florida. The palm trees are planted in perfect syncronisity around the pool and still have their support structures in place. If you know anything about this property, you know it’s shallow enough for barely a thin sand trap on the golf course. The ownership renamed the course Dutchman’s Pipe from Banyan Cay and are charging a way huge fee to join because it’s a course close to everything. But it still doesn’t stop them from having to bri

This was our second stay at The Belgrove, and we absolutely love it! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our recent visit was for a kids’ soccer tournament in the area, and the hotel truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. A huge shoutout to Amgad, one of the managers, who arranged a fantastic movie night in the ballroom for the kids—giving parents the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing dinner at Society 48. And speaking of dinner, the steak there is absolutely delicious! The Belgrove is a wonderfully family-friendly and welcoming property. We will definitely be returning soon!

We came down to Florida for a 3-day stay. We had stayed at the other Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in the West Palm Beach area roughly a year earlier. We wanted to try this new facility. We read the online reviews. As is sometimes the case, online reviews can be inaccurate, but, in this case, they proved highly useful: the physical attributes are bright and shiny, however, a segment of the staff are clueless (sort of like a Keystone Cops routine), a fact that can affect your stay. For instance, when we checked in, Jeremy at the front desk forgot to offer us the personally-engraved water bottles that are one of the signature benefits of this hotel. We eventually realized his omission, having read the online reviews, and then went back to the front desk to pick up these beautiful momentos. Jeremy also told us at check-in that one of the two rooms we had reserved was not ready for occupancy, even though we had arrived around 4 p.m. in the afternoon, and that the second room would be ready in about 10 minutes. We waited for about an hour before the room was ready even though we asked Jeremy repeatedly if he could help. The rooms are nice. Being Platinum with Marriott allowed us to get an upgrade for one of the two rooms. Both of our rooms had balconies looking out towards the golf course. You cannot see the ocean from this hotel, but it is still nice to have a view. I did notice that there were small ants in the room. You have to go through a security gate in order to reach the front door of the hotel. No one had advised us about this in advance. The security is for a gated community, the Belgrove is only one of many properties within the gated perimeter. We had a visitor come to the hotel, we had to organize with her to get her through security. In addition, one night when we returned to the hotel the main road into the gated community had been, mysteriously, blocked off. The brightest spot of our stay was Eric, a concierge, who turned out to be somewhat like a beacon of light. When we ran into issues with the other staff, we always sought out Eric, who was typically able to straighten things out. He was polite, informative, and helpful (as well as being fluent in a few foreign languages). There were a few other nice touches for this place. The staff wear name tags that indicate where they are from, sort of like the staff at Disneyland. Many of the staff are from foreign countries, such as Egypt, Jamaica, and Germany. They offer a sort of "bicycle-built-for-two," which is actually built for 4 people, that you can pedal around with for free within the gated community. We had pleasant conversations with some of the staff. The situation regarding "complimentary" breakfast for Platinum, or higher, Marriott guests is confusing. This detracted from our stay. We had two rooms, but we were still only able to get breakfast for two of the three people in our party. And, it was not a full, all-you-can-eat, complementary offering,

My husband and I took a spontaneous trip to Palm Beach and stayed at the Belgrove Resort and Spa. It was only opened for 6 weeks so everything was sparkling clean. Although staff were still in a training phase everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attended too. Special shout outs to the bartenders who remembered our names every day and to the pool attendants who were very courteous. Also a most special recognition to Jacob L. who was a front desk employee when our flight was unexpectedly cancelled after we had checked out of the hotel. He helped us resolve a multitude of issues. He had excellent customer service skills and problem solving abilities and he will definitely be an asset to your business. Thank you. Joanne R

Decided to try out the new Marriott property The Belgrove in West Palm Beach that recently opened this past Dec. Although the property is a little remote, it is beautiful and the rooms are brand new and immaculate. We expected a few "glitches" and there were some. The first two days of our stay, there was some type of construction at the pool putting up cabanas. The manager came around to apologize, but the website did not indicate there was ongoing construction. We returned to the room one night to watch a movie, but the internet was out and front desk told us to "wait half an hour or so" and try again. It eventually was up again in about an hour but was so slow we couldn't watch anything. Service at the restaurant was inexperienced and slow, even at breakfast, coffee refills few and far between. The property charges $50/day resort fee and $48/day mandatory valet parking, which seems excessive to me. One evening we were going out for a dinner reservation and the valet couldn't find the key to our rental car, so they offered to pay for an Uber wherever we were going. The next day I spoke with the valet manager Paulo who apologized profusely and although no one could figure out for sure what happened, managed to work out a solution. Paulo was gracious and accommodating and knew what he was doing. The hotel compensated us for the inconvenience and stress. Kudos to the pool staff especially Mr Farag who kept things running and entertaining and whose staff provided complimentary fruit and cool beverages at the pool and tried to make us as comfortable as possible adjusting umbrellas and anticipating our needs. Overall our stay was a very positive experience. What was most notable was the staff's eagerness to please and their enthusiasm, which made up for the glitches and inexperience. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable and inviting place to stay in the West Palm Beach area this is high on the list.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, brand new, spacious and beautifully appointed. There are even throw rugs on the floors as pictured. The bathroom was too tight for the two of us. We could have used a double sink or larger vanity. From the photos, it appears that some rooms do have larger sink areas. We had hoped to be given a better view. Instead, we were given a room facing the ongoing construction. Not great. Even so, we ate at the restaurants having breakfast, lunch dinner and drinks. All of the staff were so friendly and eager to please. They come over to us often to check and see if we needed anything. They even served hors d'oeuvres at the pool. I was disappointed at the number of children in the hot tub. That really ruined my experience as they hogged it and even told each other that they peed in the hot tub. Yuk!!! Their parents were clueless not paying attention to their kids. I get that they are on vacation too, but please be respectful of other guests, especially ones who were looking forward to using the hot tub child free! The property is not large, but it is beautiful. The landscape is very beautiful, giving a tropical feel. Drinks were done well. The lobby is beautifully appointed, allowing for a relaxing space to read and relax. The touches were really special -- free water bottles to all guests, turn down pillow service, slippers and robes in the rooms. I loved the ability to fill my water bottle at the station in the coffee area. All in all, our stay was memorable and enjoyable. The things we really did not like -- the $50 per night resort fee and the $48 per day valet charge. We could have easily parked our car independently. Not sure what the resort fee was for other than it covered all the "extras" provided like the chocolate, water bottles, etc. One last thing, the mattress in our room was not comfortable at all and we had a hard time getting to sleep. The pillows are really, really soft. Very comfy, but provided no support. They do offer a pillow menu, but I was just too tired to change my pillow. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. I always look to stay in a new hotel while traveling. This resort is clean, comfy and really offers a Palm Beach feel. They have a beautiful bar in the center of the main restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed a drink one evening here. Very relaxing. At night, they have fire pits to enjoy. During the day, there is a covered porch area to enjoy. Aside from the nuisances mentioned, I would highly recommend this hotel. It's new, clean, has a friendly staff and great food. We did not get to order room service, but breakfast, lunch and dinner were all really enjoyable. We will stay here again during our next stay in West Palm Beach.

Beautiful property. Absolutely loved the team at the front desk and in the restaurants. Room was large, spotless and just wonderful. Not sure why it's called a resort. HOWEVER, I would not recommend as the property ******. Online it's gorgeous, however it's all golf and you're not allowed to walk the perimeter? Your golf man shooed me away. Sorry - a few men playing golf means the side trail is not available? Also, the pools are so gated, it chops up aesthetically and I couldn't open any of the gates. Lastly, property is way out of the way and you'll be in Ubers - uber drivers are scarce and have a hard time finding the place.

Beautiful new clean hotel where the staff truly goes above and beyond. The food is really delicious and every staff member was so sweet and accommodating. It is not on the beach, but there are 3 pools, 2 hot tubs and they have a free shuttle and even provided us with chairs and an umbrella! The drinks were beautiful and very well made and the wood fired pizza was delicious.
