Dorint Strandresort & Spa Westerland/Sylt
"I was with my friend and we are very happy"
Mimosa House
"Lower-middle-class accommodation on the outskirts of Westerland with good transport links thanks to a bus stop just a two-minute walk away. Positive aspects: decent mattresses, working heating, quiet residential area, 10-minute walk to the beach access. Negative aspects: the hallways in the building appear neglected due to stained carpeting and broken cabinets. The sauna in the building is not particularly inviting. The kitchen equipment in the apartment is extremely inadequate, with only two cups, plates, a small amount of cutlery, just two water glasses, and one wine glass. Even simple meals require multiple wash cycles daily in the oversized dishwasher or by hand. We haven't experienced such poor equipment in a holiday apartment for years. Lighting is generally poor or nonexistent (the desk is in a dark corner, but without a light)."

"Overall well very beautiful from outside"
Mimosa Hotel
"Great value for money. Ideal for a short trip. We've already been there twice. We'd love to go again!"
Boutique Hotel Villa Monika
"A fantastic eight-room boutique hotel, walkable in 15 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes from Westerland’s main shopping and dining streets, and five minutes (barely two blocks) from the promenade and beach. We stayed three nights in room 8 on the top floor, enjoying a spacious room and taking coffee every morning on the balcony. Bedding was super comfortable and the pillows were ample; we slept with the windows open every night. Jasmine and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, brewing us espressos while we arrived and departed, offering great dining and sightseeing recommendations on a handy information card (Strandoase, Buhne 16, and Rantumbeckum were highlights) and lending us e-bikes for two days. We loved the bikes, as it was easy to pick up the bike trail (one block from the hotel) to explore the northern (to List) and southern (to Sansibar) areas of Sylt in under 45 minutes. Overall a great home away from home for a stay on Sylt."
Hotel Miramar
"Beach location with a view of garbage cans and walls, rooms in need of renovation and staff who are completely untrained in hospitality. Less is not possible. A pity. It could be great. Outdated tradition with unfriendly staff in dirty, old, black uniforms."
Hotel Sylter Blaumuschel
"I was 3 days a guest in this hotel. It was just great. The staff and the boss super friendly and attentive. Most especially the two gentlemen at breakfast!! I used the sauna and the pool daily. The room was great. It would take too long to mention all the small things that were just great. If Sylt, then back into the Sylter bluemuschel!!! ♥️"

Hotel Roth am Strande
"Hotel is not far from the beach. Rooms were not clean dust on the ground and the corners in the bath were dirty too. Very superficially cleaned, the dirt was sticked out of the ground to the hall, the feather did not go either. There were only 2 nights of 3 there, otherwise we would have complained. There has nobody controlled the room for longer. Windows were also dimmed has pulled in without end. Despite rail strike we drove by car and had to pay 1Tag although we had to leave earlier. Not Kulant from the boss. Here is the currency who comes has a bad thing who has to pay if he leaves earlier than booked bad thing that brings money. The places where they don't come through the strike they have no cancellation costs."
Boutique Hotel Haus Noge
"Top location, everything accessible by foot: supermarkets, train station, ZOB, beach, city. Delightful varied breakfast made with very much love. Also service top: I could check in earlier, although I just wanted to leave my stuff because I was there earlier..."
Strandhotel Sylt Westerland
"Clean and good hotel. Very good breakfast. We'll definitely be back."
