"Beach location with a view of garbage cans and walls, rooms in need of renovation and staff who are completely untrained in hospitality. Less is not possible. A pity. It could be great. Outdated tradition with unfriendly staff in dirty, old, black uniforms."

"The good bits: - Great location right next to the beach and 5 mins walk from the town center - Friendly staff - Well looked after interior - Great breakfast - standard German buffet options with extra hot choices and good quality fruits, yoghurts etc. The rest: - Wow, the price! Paid at leas twice as much as I would expect for this type of hotel anywhere else in Germany. Sylt needs more competition. - The rooms are very small, the bathrooms in particular are tiny. - There is no airconditioning. The rooms that face the sea will get very warm during the day and are hard to cool down at night. Overall, nice hotel in a great spot, but very hard to justify the price being charged for the facilities available."

"We had a wonderful stay at I LOVE SYLT Hotel in Westerland and would come back at any time. The hotel is convinced with a modern, stylish design and very tastyly furnished rooms. The equipment does not leave any desires open: high quality materials, comfortable beds, much love for details and everything up to date. You immediately realize that there is much value here for quality and comfort. The friendly and aware team is particularly highlighted. From check-in to departure we were warmly careful and we were welcome at any time. Breakfast was excellent. High quality products, a large selection and everything fresh and lovely presented. The perfect start in the day. Very practical are also the hotel's deep garage as well as the loading infrastructure for e-bikes. Just on Sylt a big plus point if you want to explore the island flexibly. The location is also ideal. From here you can reach almost everything conveniently to foot: the beach, Friedrichstrasse, restaurants, cafes and shopping facilities. The car can stay without problems. The I LOVE SYLT combines modern design, high comfort and an excellent location. For us a clear recommendation for all who are looking for a stylish and relaxed hotel on Sylt."

"We stayed here for a weekend in November during our fourth visit to the island. It was our first stay at this hotel, but hopefully not our last. The hotel is truly cozy and unique, with its quirky style, distinctive luxury, and special charm. Our room was large and spacious, featuring many amusing pictures, decorative items, and the like. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and we felt very welcome. The absolute highlight of the hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. First of all, it is served in a wonderfully cozy setting in a small room with space for about five tables. During our stay, the hotel was beautifully and lavishly decorated for Christmas, which was just delightful! The breakfast itself was excellent – for the first time in a long while, we had good, fresh bread in Germany. Additionally, a warm egg dish of your choice is served, and it was very delicate. On Sunday, we were treated to a freshly baked waffle with delicious toppings. We spent much longer enjoying breakfast than we usually do because it was so good and the atmosphere was so pleasant. The hotel is situated on a quiet street close to the city center, and not far from a small Christmas market, which is worth visiting if you're there during the season. We would definitely recommend booking a stay here. The only minor complaint is that the bed was very soft."
