"The hotel felt and looked more like a $50-a-night roadside motel than a beach-side property charging the $600 per night that we paid. The towels were tiny, rough, and so thin that they were see through and we were given no extra pool/beach towels despite the room having a shelf with a written label dedicated to that. We didn’t end up using the pool or beach anyway because both were tiny, overcrowded, and beyond unappealing. You have to drag your luggage alone up flights of stairs as there is no elevator and no help. Our sheets had a stain upon arrival, the carpet was dirty, and despite staying multiple nights, our room was never serviced. There was no iron, no coffee or water in the room, the refrigerator wasn’t cold and was falling apart, and there wasn’t even a phone to call downstairs. When we requested an iron we were told they didn’t even have any but that a steamer would be sent up- it wasn’t and we had to go downstairs and ask again an hour and a half later. We were also told we’d received the last two clean towels in the hotel… and there wasn’t even water available in the lobby when we checked out. Our friend’s room was even worse, smelling and feeling damp with the carpet turning your feet black if you walked barefoot."

"Chris and Sarah of Margin Street Inn have done it again! Our most recent stay at this gorgeous bed and breakfast was beyond relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. The bountiful breakfast buffets are not to be missed. They’re always fresh and delicious and prepared by Sarah herself..(lemon ricotta pancakes..I see you!) Margin Street is a well deserved award winning Inn. The innkeepers are the reason it is consistently recognized and a big reason we keep coming back. It is truly a treat for us to stay here year after year. Chris and Sarah, thank you for your generous hospitality! We will see you again soon. Liz & Greg"
