Have just returned from a fabulous 5 day break at the Royal Grosvenor Hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and went out their way to ensure everyone was happy. The room was very comfortable and clean. Had a lovely sea view and food and entertainment were excellent. Highly recommended!

Came down here on a coach trip,I’ve been on plenty and for the money you pay they are always basic. This hotel is in a great location.I paid for a single room and they gave me a double bed.My room was on the ground floor with a balcony and sea views. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the evening meals were good also. The evening entertainment was brilliant and all the staff were pleasant.

A coach holiday with Sunrise. We were welcomed by Vicki, porterage for our cases was provided. My room was wonderful, clean and fresh. I requested a sea view and my French doors opened onto a little terrace with views of the Pier. The food was great with a good choice. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel location couldn’t have been better. I used the coastal bus one day, really easy. So very pleased with my visit and can recommend this hotel, lots of fresh paint and updates.

I believe the chefs name was Pamela well done gal. the fact that the owner Nicky helped out and she really was THE HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS I recommend anybody considering to go away at Christmas go to this hotel, uwillnot be disappointed. A BIG THANK U TO ALL THE STAFF U WERE SUPERBE. Se e U next year. It has a fantastic terrace over looking the front and the pier so I can imagine when the sun is out it must be the best place to stay in Weston.

Rooms poor, No hot water, Poor quality breakfast. Staff are friendly . Living off being in a good location. Soft Drinks at the bar overpriced and very limited. Linen yellowed and very old for the beds.

We stayed after visiting family at Xmas in WSM (my husband is originally from there). Typically, we would choose a premier Inn however, we were late booking so rooms were n/a. Looking at our location and such, we were deciding between the Grosvenor and the Royal, choosing the Grosvenor in the end based on price and overall reviews. On arrival to check in, our booking could not be found, despite giving the reference number. The hotel reception were quick to resolve this and gave us an alternative room, though it was single beds rather than a double. It was one night, so didn't matter. Glad we had a booking. They even offered breakfast on the hotel as an apology. They called us again once we got to our room to tell us that our original booking has been found so we returned to reception to swap keys. Breakfast was still offered as an apology. Our new double room was located at the front of the property, overlooking the car park and road which is fairly busy. We had clean towels each (though they are small - not bath sheets) and a hand soap. The room had a hairdryer and a small Basic TV with remote. Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel is not provided but I saw that it was available at reception - not sure if this was an additional cost as we did not require it (brought our own). The shower head seemed to be stuck on the same setting, we could not adjust it to get a wider spray. Shower was okay and usable for ours purpose but not the best I've had. It's an old building, so our floor was squeaky and uneven in places. This doesn't detract from the stay but worth mentioning if this concerns you. My husband didn't mind the bed however I found it a bit lumpy and uncomfortable due to being able to feel the springs through the sheets. There are extra pillows available should you need them but they are all very soft so be aware if you like firmer pillows for support. Funnily enough, it wasn't the main road outside that was noisy. We could hear conversations outside our room, general talking and walking/moving around through the door. I felt like I didn't want to talk or move about for fear our neighbours could hear us in the adjoining rooms. There was also a gap beneath the fire door (main door to the room) which meant that in the event of a fire, smoke would quickly fill the room. This let in a draught every now and again. The room was warm however. Neither of us got a decent night's sleep unfortunately. We did go down to breakfast in the morning (8-9am weekdays) but we were put off from partaking as the room was fairly full and felt rather stuffy. It would have been lovely to have breakfast in the bar area as it's light and airy up there. Sadly, not an option so we headed out to Gregg's for a bacon roll instead after checking out. Though the hotel is friendly and the rooms generally clean and equipped with bare necessities. We wouldn't stay again but that is personal preference for us. The location for the seafront and nearby high street

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. The food and entertainment was excellent. There were 32 of us staying in the hotel for a Royal Navy reunion. We were well looked after all weekend and we will certainly be back.
