The Hotel itself is very dated in decor, but I actually enjoyed this and it felt quite nostalgic to me. If you're looking for cheap and cheerful and you're not overly fussy then this place will do you just fine. After all I wasn't here to spend all day in the room, but to go out and explore. There was coffee and tea, fresh towels, and I was left alone for the 2 nights I stayed which I appreciate. Some people enjoy the maid service, but personally I prefer not being bothered. From all the other reviews it mentioned a fee upon arrival as an insurance for damages, but I got asked for no extra fees, so I'm guessing this is based on the larger more valuable family type rooms maybe. If you are a solo traveler like myself then the location is brilliant, as it's right next to the main beach *****, a cool little local beach front cafe which is reasonably priced, and if you have the legs for it like me, a massive nature trek to explore full of beautiful forestry and greenery. The main shopping town and Italian gardens are only a short 15 minute walk away. If you are on a budget there's a wetherspoons just 5 minutes away which is very decent and has great sea views, staff were all lovely. Staff at the hotel were also very friendly if you approached or talked to them. Only negative I'd say is that you can't book in till 3pm, but there is plenty to keep you busy nearby whilst you wait. If you are fussy and expect the Ritz, this place ain't for you, but if you are there with a fair level head and you just want cheap lodgings, then it'll do you fine for a night or two. I'd definitely stay again for the cheap price of just over 30 quid a night. Thanks and I'll be back down the line 😎

NOT GOOD.if you want a hostel go here. It is NOT a hotel or B&B. It is very dated, dirty, and smelly. There is very limited parking we had to park 3 streets away. Our room was on the top floor and no lift/broken the room was filthy, windows, shower, carpets, lights, tea tray, kettle blinds. The bathroom really smelled with windlw open, we could close it as it was broken. We tried to book somewhere else but couldnt as it was a very busy weekend. The only clean things were the bedding and towels. The walls.are paper thin and can here everything from the other rooms. Locals say it has a bad reputation. 👎

The hotel was clean and basic for the price it was good. The only thing was NO LIFT and had to climb 3 flights of stairs with a bad knee. Also we asked 4 times for more pillows but we didn’t receive. Reception was not manned for us to check out so we had to leave on reception desk…

The manager was very friendly and helpful. Our room and the rest of the hotel were spotless throughout. It was also very quiet it was fully booked but there were no noise issues. The hotel is seconds away from the seafront and a convenience store. It is a few minutes walk to the town. If you couldn't park outside you could for free in the sidestreets adjacent, which is always a bonus!

Can not fault this b&b for the price well mannered owners/staff always happy to help rooms clean and tidy and bed very comfortable 1st night sleep where I’ve slept for over 8hours without waking up and I’m a light sleeper didn’t ever hear them in morning cleaning other rooms ready for next guest would defo recommend 😷

Parking very limited, stayed in room 14 but had frosted windows above the door which let the light from outside in. Doors were hinged doors so had to be slammed to shut. Quite noisy at times of the night. Was a budget stay so didn’t expect the ritz but the room was adequate
