The Grove

This was the first visit for some time. It was recommended by a good friend who I have known over 25 years and who has been to Weston Super Mare many times. When we arrived the we went straight to our room and first impressions was wow, beautiful spacious room and lovely decor. We were in a family room with a double, two singles, bedside tables by each bed and lamps that come on by touch. Also a spacious wardrobe with hangers and drawers, heater if needed and hairdryer. They were many mirrors for each person in room so no fighting over use. Welcome teas, coffee, sugar, milk and cups and kettle in room. These are replenished each morning. The bathroom was clean (small) but enough for one person at a time with handwash and shower gel to use. Breakfast - We stayed for 3 nights and you left what you wanted on a tick sheet of what you wanted - full English fry up ( scrambled, fried eggs) and how you wanted it hot drinks, cereal, yogurts, toast, jam and hot drinks...beautiful breakfast and perfect each morning. We also stay on the patio chairs which are at the front but has a hedge so privacy and a real sun trap...such a relaxing time and comfortable. Owner Anne and friends were lovely, helpful and and were like visiting a good friend and don't forget Teddy...the dog you met each morning for his belly rubs and fuss. Would definitely go again and would recommend it to friend and family. Thanks all at Grove Lodge...Great atmosphere and lovely stay

Excellent place to stay I would take no notice of any bad reviews . Breakfast was delicious the 2 ladies are so helpful and deserve so much credit for a great place to enjoy and location is so good. It's perfect for a visitor to Weston .thanks for everything .

Very enjoyable stay in this traditional Bed and Breakfast. Comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast. Had a parking space at the back of the property and it's so convenient for both thel Playhouse and the beach. Will definitely be returning .

The location is minutes away from the beach and pier so an excellent location. The staff are the friendliest, most accommodating hosts. The room has everything you need with a huge walk in shower. The breakfast was amazing, hosts even ask if you want extras after finishing. Thank you all x

This guest house is in a great location, 5 minute walk to the beach/grand pier. Our room was on the ground floor, spacious and very clean. Had everything you could need. Breakfast was great, you fill out a form and request what you'd like the day before. Would definitely return if we venture down this way again.

My husband and i loved this guest house. The owners were so nice and friendly. The guest house is a 2 minute walk from the town centre and the beach is a 5 minute walk. The free breakfast was delicious and very fresh. I loved the toast as it was a good quality bread. Our room was very clean and a good size . We will be going back in the summer with our family and i cant wait
