The Woodrun Lodge by Whiski Jack

We have just returned from our honeymoon in Canada where we spent a week at the Woodrun Lodge in Whistler. On arrival to our unit, we were disgusted to find the apartment was in a filthy state. There were stains on all the (sub-standard) bed sheets, valance and cheap and lumpy pillows. The crockery and cutlery had been left unwashed in the cupboards and the unit was very dated. As the week went on, we found more and more things that had not been cleaned properly - including the bathrooms and living room - and simple things such as the phones were in a poor state, and were partially broken. The sockets also appeared unsafe and were loose. The rest of the hotel also appeared dated and carpets in the hallways were stained and worn. We were expecting a high standard of accommodation and were extremely disappointed at what we ended up with - it would be lucky to even make two stars. Such was our disappointment, that we checked out a day early.

Hot tub, heated pool + Snow = awesome! Will definitely be back soon! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!

Glad we chose this resort. Woodrow Resort is a great location, has all you would need for a great holiday and the staff were always helpful and friendly. Hope we can return one day soon!

We stayed at no.418 at the lodge. The location is great but otherwise the whole experience was meh. The place is not particularly clean or well-looked after. You get the impression that absolutely no-one cares. For example, the boot/ski room was often puddled with water from all the snow, but no-one bothered to wipe the floor overnight, so you just got wet socks when trying to put your ski boots on. There was only one bench for about 60 lockers. I didn't want to go near the jacuzzi based on the general lack of attention to hygiene in the place. The lift stopped working, but no information was given about when it would be back up, etc. The room itself was basic and tired. The amount of 'toiletries' provided was laughable; could each fit into a stick of lip balm. When I messaged Vacasa, the agency, for more. they said that was it. They were very responsive when you were booking, but after that, you were dead to them until checkout time. The bedrooms and bathrooms were poorly lit and we couldn't switch the fan off in one of the bathrooms. On the plus side, there were lots of clean towels in the apartment. In summary, bring everything you need because they won't help you. I would not return here if I came back to Whistler.

The facility was quiet and very convenient to walk around restaurants, shopping, gondolas in Whistler village and Upper village. It was very spacious. I would recommend staying here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I would give it negative stats if possible. Evidently they are remodeling all summer long every day. The floor in our unit was vibrating it was so loud. If I had notice of this I never would have booked here. Every place i have ever stayed where there was remodeling, they let me know beforehand. The customer service is horrible. They act as though you are annoying them for asking anything.
