I can't say enough good things about this hotel, everything about it was perfect. Fantastic food (we had breakfast and evening meals), the staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The patio out the back of the restaurant is a lovely touch, super peaceful and perfect to enjoy a drink if the weather is nice. We even got free upgrades with our rooms. Would 100% come back to this hotel, would recommend to anyone staying in the Whitstable area.

I stayed here whilst working in Kent recently, The room was spacious and well presented, with good views towards Whitstable. The evening meal was very nice, although I would say the portions were a bit small, I did feel hungry still after two courses. I went for the cooked breakfast, and to be really honest I would prefer toast, cereal and coffee to be buffet style. I ordered poached eggs and bacon which was nice, although back bacon would have been preferred over streaky. I asked for granola, which came in a tiny bowl with a second large bowl of milk which was a little strange. No offer of toast or a second cup of coffee. I would definitely stay here again, but breakfast service does need some tweaking.

Absolutely fantastic hotel we stayed here last night and ate in their restaurant. We decided to stay in because it was a cold evening, that was the correct choice. Their menu was fantastic as was the quality and presentation. Nice small bar but well stocked and service thats up there with the big names. Great room and quiet next time were that way our first choice to stay…

I visited this superb hotel just for one night. The communications before arrival were first rate, including a text that there was a wedding reception on the same night. I booked a single room which, was very cosy and all the amenities, including a well designed ensuite, given the size of the room, are readily available. The welcome was warm, friendly without being over the top. I was able to access my room well before the 16.00 hour check-in time which was very well received and a bonus. I walked into town which, is about 30 minutes and all downhill. It is a bit more of a challenge coming back as, strangely enough, it is all uphill! However, aged 66, I managed this with aplomb. Don't let the fact the hotel is down a narrow lane put you off, I was happy to walk along there in the dark! Having got back to the hotel around 22.30, I did ask if any food was available and some sandwiches were duly made and these were first rate! The wedding reception didn't cause me any problem whatsoever and I slept well. Breakfast was first rate, I went for the Full English with poached eggs. Nothing was too much trouble and I would definitely stay here again.

If you are getting married!! This venue is a MUST. There are so many reasons, so il do a little list; It’s a beautiful location, the Tipi is such a wonderful setting and looked stunning in our November wedding. Sarah who co-ordinated everything could not have been more lovely and helpful throughout the process. On the big day, she was there whenever we needed and often popped up before we even knew we would needed her. All the staff were friendly and went above and beyond for our special day. The food was delicious and everyone commented on tasty it was. Compliments to the Chef. Our day honestly could not have been more beautiful and special and Sarah and the team played such a huge part of it. The rooms were spacious, loved the decor and the beds were very comfortable especially after a night of dancing, I slept like a light. If you are getting married or looking for somewhere to stay with beautiful scenery, rooms and great staff this is the place

This is a lovely small but well appointed hotel. We stayed in room 17 just over the restaurant. The food was magnificent. Sarah and her team are very attentive, even going beyond to arrange a cab back to the hotel when we were finding it difficult to book from Whitstable. The only (small) improvement might be to have a larger TV in the bedroom.

We received a very warm welcome and went through an easy check in process. We were shown to our room and it was beautiful! We opted for a sea view, it had a little seating area with the tv, views across the fields and out to the sea, a massive, very comfortable bed and a big functional bathroom. The shower was massive with two different head settings and the towels were lovely and big! Breakfast was fine. Quite organised with lots of options available. The staff were a friendly and helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer, maybe next time!

An excellent venue with a marvellous view and friendly, hospitable staff. Our party of about 20 was made to feel very comfortable and well looked after. The rooms are very comfortable and superbly furnished and the food and dining arrangements in the main hotel perfect. Thank you. I'll be back
