The location is very good, in a service area, there is a parking lot, the parking ticket costs 3 pounds; the hotel breakfast is very rich, the typical English breakfast has steamed eggs, bacon, fried sausage, yogurt and fruit!

Pros: The room is clean and cleaned up in a timely manner. The breakfast is good, and the steak in the restaurant on the first floor can be slightly expensive. Cons: No elevator. However, there are few old hotels in the UK with elevators.

The better place to compare the general facilities is that it is more convenient to travel in the city centre. It is also very convenient to get off the train station. The hotel is very poor. If you are unfortunate, your window is next to the street. There is a bar downstairs every night. Shouting

Hampton Canterbury is a very convenient hotel situated right in the city centre of Canterbury. Supermarket, restaurants and cathedral is literally 2-3 mins away. This is the 3rd time I stay here. Breakfast is excellent. Although the menu does not change, it is a very reliable good old English breakfast serve in a buffet. It has everything you need to start your day. I love it and look forward to it every time. (Although you might get slightly bored if you stay for 5 days like me). The environment is generally clean. I do not have a high requirements in the level of cleanliness. So don’t take my word for it. It is not luxurious, but you will get everything you need to support you throughout your journey for leisure or for business. On facilities side, there is no fridge in the room. Which is not a must. The room is medium in size. One down side is that there is no shower curtain. You will get a lot of water on to the bathroom floor when you shower. I suggest that they attach a shower holder on the glass side of the shower box. That way the water is directed towards the wall a lot less water will get on the floor. I will bring a suction type shower holder of my own next time. I will actually put it in my packing list. It would come in handy during travel. There is no coin op laundry in the hotel. And I don’t see any coin op laundry around the area. So you you need to use the hotel laundry service which will always be expensive. Personally I think it is a great hotel. Great value for money and is my number 1 choice of hotel when I come to Canterbury. Thank you for looking after us.

My partner and I got married at Cave this month. We fell in love with it back in 2020 and booked it almost immediately. The communications with the wedding team was great and made the process easier. Megan is our 2nd wedding coordinator due to our first taking on a new job role elsewhere. The handover was effortless that we couldn't tell and pretty much forgot there was a change in staff. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, location and have been boasting about it to this day. The staff were fabulous, friendly, very professional and accommodating to our guests. As part of the wedding package, we were able to stay the night at the Bridal suite which is absolutely stunning with outstanding panoramic views of the golf course and access to the Spa and Gym. There was a member of staff, Chloe who worked at the hotel reception and she was extremely helpful. The day after, we packed our car tight and had no room left for a balloon gifted by the hotel and our top table flowers. Chloe kindly stepped up and offered the boot of her car which my now husband collected from the next day. In a years time, we'll get to return to enjoy our 1st anniversary dinner as part of the wedding package but I guarantee we'll be back sooner than that. Thank you so much again. It is a warmer B&B I have lived in. The hotel is very clean and the interior is newly renovated. The big bathroom is comfortable and the waiter is very good. Disadvantages on the side of the road, not suitable for passengers who are afraid of noisy, and breakfast is particularly simple, a bit convenient to drive between Canterbury and Dover White Cliffs, and there are parking spaces

We have just returned from a 3-night stay at Judd’s Folly and would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our cottage was lovely, very clean and in beautiful surroundings. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. The food was great and overall it was excellent value for money. Thank you for helping us to have a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Made an overnight stay as a single person having pre-booked directly with the hotel. When booking, I set out several preferences for the type of room I wanted and my thanks to Linda and Martine on reception for sorting this all out for me quite perfectly. In addition, I was hosting a dinner party with several guests in the Brasserie that evening and they helped with all the arrangements for that. I stayed in a standard double room (room 8) which was comfortable and perfectly clean, with everything you’d expect from this class of hotel. The room was quiet and on the first floor overlooking gardens. Dinner with my friends that evening was a success with good food and service. Overall everything went very well. Finally, I have to mention that I rather stupidly left a shirt in the wardrobe in my room after leaving the hotel but, again, this time after speaking with Beth on reception at the hotel, she arranged for this to be posted back to me the same day. The staff at this hotel are really great.
