Wyndham Garden Wichita Downtown

This hotel was alright. Service was good. The location wasn't too far from downtown. I've lived in Wichita for 6 years before so I'm familiar with the area. There's a QuikTrip across the street and a Wendy's down the other street on Boradway. They seem to have a restaurant inside and there's a pool table

It’s a good location. I needed to be downtown for my convention. But I wish the hotel had higher cleanliness standards. It was very dirty. The shower curtain was dirty. The gym… I don’t even remember the last time they might have cleaned it. The chairs and everything else were old. This hotel really needs a touch-up. But the price was okay, and it got me where I needed to be.

I received a better rate online before check-in, upon check my rate was rather expensive, but It was too late to cancel!

The toilet plugged, had to stand in a lake of water while taking a shower slow drain. The pillows had a funky smell to them. Rotten trim (with mold)around the heater/air conditioner.room in need of remodeling, for goodness sake at least slap a coat of paint!! You get the vibe that the people running it have no interest in fixing anything , because im sure its the way they live and that is acceptable to them.it was convenient close by the intrust arena, which should give them the motivation to fix it up and get return customers. They probably only want the people just passing by. Didnt want to eat the breakfast, after seeing how dirty things were there.

It had a moggy smell throughout, there were stains on the comforter in one bed so we just slept together. I decided to sleep in the other bed the next night, the morning I woke up I had itchy bite marks all down my left arm and my left eye was swollen. It appears to be bug bite marks.
