Seaview Guest House

Best location in Wick for sea & harbour views, straight out the gate and onto a lovely sea walk. Lovely big family room with comfy double & single beds & ensuite bathroom. The guest living room has a huge picture window with fabulous views & we had it all to ourselves. Joan cooks a great breakfast in the traditional Scottish dining room. She's so friendly, just ask & it's done - she ironed out shirts & gave us a lift to the bus stop! We thoroughly recommend.

From the moment i arrived to the moment i left. June was the perfect host, Very attentive and always looking to help in any way she could. Lovely quiet place so peaceful. The whole place is immaculate. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic place to stay, June was so attentive told us where to go for something to eat, it was lovely to chat to a fellow geordie , very comfortable bed breakfast in the morning was lovely, I would definitely stay here again

A guest house run by such a warm and welcoming host, June, who made me feel at home and relaxed as soon as I arrived. Seaview is pristine everywhere and June takes a real pride in her home and in looking after her guests. My room looked out over Wick Harbour and was comfortable and warm. An added bonus is the guest TV room with great views out to sea. Thankyou June for looking after me and for making me laugh!

Until I turned up at June's lovely welcoming hoose I had all but given up on finishing the John O'Groats Trail. Bedraggled and totally knackered I rang the wee bell and was greeted by a lovely lady who couldn't do enough for me. She could see I was knackered and kindly gave me a lift back into town when I needed it. Arriving back at a beautiful wee place in a beautiful location revived me enough to fully appreciate the effort she was making to ensure I would be cosy and comfy on my one night stay. My room was lovely and warm with everything I could need - I did eat all the sweeties - and the hot shower was exactly what I wanted after a long day. My breakfast the next day gave me enough fuel to crack on with my adventure. I'd like to thank June for her care and attention and thoroughly recommend you stay at her extra comfortable wee gem if you are in, or are intending to be in, the area in the future. My friend and I were doing the NC500 and planned to camp at John O Groats but due to extreme weather conditions, ended up in June's place. I can honestly say, without her, I'm not sure that we would have got dried out enough to continue , soaked doesn't explain it. June welcolmed us remarkably, and helped as much as possible and more, we were on scooters and she moved her car to let us put them under her window for security, she dried out all our clothing and went well above the level of any other BnB we stayed at on the 900mile long trip. The beds were comfortable, the rooms are spotless and the price was, to be honest, probably too cheap for what she did for us. Absolute legend of a wee lady, I'll recommend this place to anyone who i know in future going up to that area. Can't thank you enough June, you were part of our journey and we will never forget what you did for us, we made it btw lol, even got home a day early, Applecross to Paisley in one day was tough but we made it. P.s. The breakfast was brilliant too If im ever up there again, i'll defo pop in, as i wrote in the visitors book, 6 stars isn't enough. Love from Paisley xx
