Everglades Hotel Widnes Reviews

It was my first visit to this hotel. I had a meeting in Widnes and found this to be a very convenient location. There is good signage making the hotel easy to find and access. The quality of my experience for the price paid was excellent. The WiFi connection is good, the free parking is extremely convenient. The hotel was spotlessly clean and everything worked as it should in the room. The lights were bright, television had a great selection of channels, tea & coffee plus lovely biscuits were supplied. Nice towels, and clean bedding. There is thought put into the room’s amenities. There is a restaurant and a cosy bar plus outdoor tables at the front entrance however, I did not have time to visit them on this occasion. I will in future as I plan to return to Everglades hotel when I next visit Widnes.

Spacious rooms and parking lot were friendly for traveling with family. But the rugs felt old and a bit of urinary smell.

The hotel has a convenient location and a big parking.The price for the room was cheap however the room was very dated, there were cobwebs in the corners next to the window, curtains a bit dusty, furniture old. The bathroom needs a complete upgrade, the bath was wobbly and squeaky when you step in it. There were a couple of spiders in the bathroom. It was ok for one night and for the price we have paid but I would stay here again.

It was OK obviously mainly business people. Wasn't impressed with breakfast...very messy and very poor choice for £12

Really lovely reception area, staff were great during book in, very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, spacious and warm. Just what we wanted for our one night stay. Didn't visit the bar or restaurant as was with my 12 year old Son but the menu looked excellent and the bar area looked pleasant. Plenty of nice flat car parking spaces. Would definitely visit again!
