We stayed as part of a newspaper promotion. Arriving later on Friday night we collected our keys from the pub and had a nice welcome. Our caravan was lovely, clean, heated up super quick with the heating boost and had a lovely hot shower. We were given a 3 bed when we booked 2 which was a nice bonus. It was modern, well equipped and had everything we needed. Yes the beds had plastic on the mattresses but it didn’t stop us getting a good nights sleep. We booked the swimming pool which for teenagers was a little small (more for smaller children or babies) but it was nice to have the option. The park felt safe and secure and we were in the new part at the end of the park which was lovely and peaceful. We travelled to Skipton and settle, did the Ingleborough trail, visited some lovely cafes and had a lovely chilled out weekend. The only issue we had was after a long afternoon walking we popped in the pub to grab tea and was told there was no food being served as there was an owners party on in the pub. Not a problem for us as we drove back into settle for a Chinese (15-20 mins) but for someone without a car this could’ve been a problem as there’s nothing else and it wasn’t mentioned when we called into reception that morning. The countryside around the park is stunning. We found it a great base for getting to see the area.

Just back from another lovely break at Bowland Fell. This time we stayed in the cottage. Beautifully furnished throughout, very spacious with 4 bedrooms, large garden to rear with seating and games room which hubby enjoyed. Staff as always were lovely both in reception and pub. Hubby used the swimming pool and enjoyed his time in there. We look forward to another stay in September

We were snowed in and thought it was going to be a disaster but the site is run brilliantly. The manager was so helpful and they even opened the pool for us on the Sunday. The cottage was so well appointed that we didn’t need to leave. Thank you for going the extra mile.

Had a great time at bowland fell with the family this October, we were made to feel very welcome, Simon was very chatty and helpful needed a few extra things which he got sorted for us, the place we stayed had everything we needed as a family, the onsite pub was good for a drink, pool and darts. We did a nice walk from the resort into the bowland forest and walked around the reservoir, and managed two of the yorkshie three peaks with the lads. Great time away, will book again

We arrived at the holiday park on Friday 18th April for Easter weekend. First impressions the holiday park itself looked very nice, reception area with a little shop, pub onsite, various children’s play parks and an indoor swimming pool. We checked in and were given our keys to a caravan at the other end of the park in front of a big green area which was great for the kids to play safely. Now what has put us off is the cleanliness of the caravan itself. When approaching we could see rubbish bags left on the drive off the previous occupiers. We had booked a pet friendly caravan because that was all what was left to book due to our party size. Now we have all been around pets but the smell hit you as soon as you opened the door. The caravan was not cleaned to a high standard at all. We had to wipe everything down and the floors were so dirty. Under the beds must not have been touched in years as they were thick of dust. I did report this to reception and was told they were sorry this isn’t their usual standards but unfortunately this has put us off booking this park again.

Stayed in the platinum 3 bed pet friendly lodge Beautiful lodge Not our first time on the park but our first time under park holidays We use to come for many years staying in the apartments for numerous Christmas times & the caravans The park itself and its surroundings is what brought us back It has changed a lot and I think it’s appropriate for how times are changing . Absolutely no problems with the park itself - friendly staff at reception and in the crowtrees inn where we had a drink only so can’t comment on the food . The lodge was lovely Warm & cosy A couple of things I could have picked at but didn’t mention were the towels bath sheets would be much better than bath towels for size and the bath robes / slippers supplied really don’t need to be as no hot tub - just my opinion as we holiday a few times a year in lodges and just found these to be quite useless as a guest and would prefer the bath sheets . No mattress protectors either on any of the beds not sure if they are suppose to be or not but again it’s something we are use to seeing in other places we’ve stayed . Other than that we did have a lovely weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will of course return

The park was a lovely place, really nice and quiet, which is what we wanted, looking for a relaxed spring break. Upon arrival, when entering the reception area, the team was not as friendly as would have expected, and being honest, all just stared at us awkwardly. It didn't feel very welcoming. Upon collecting the keys later that day, the girl we dealt with was much more friendly. I would not recommend the caravans here due to the cleanliness of them. All cupboards in the kitchen were grubby, and thankfully, I had brought cleaning supplies to clean them all down prior to using the kitchen. All utensils in the kitchen where rotten, pans, and measuring jug had food residue on them, meaning we needed to wash absolutely everything before using it. After being in the caravan for a day, we noticed a dirty wine glass that was hidden between the curtains, which was obviously from the previous guests. Inside the kitchen cupboards were dirty. We noticed a few marks on the bed sheets, but they did seem fresh other than that. The beds had been poorly made, meaning that the sheets didn't stay on, and we had been sleeping on the plastic sheet every night. We had paid for the Internet, which was so called fast but kept on cutting out, so it wasn't really worth the £15. Overall, I wouldn't visit this site again due to cleanliness of the caravan but the area was lovely.

We have just stayed here Monday-Friday. Caravan was lovely clean and everything was great. I recommend bringing baking trays for cooking as there only the small grill one which for us wasn’t too much of a problem. The bed I found be comfy the only downside is that the sheet is a flat sheet so you spend a lot of the time fixing this which was a bit annoying. The pub and restaurant we only had drinks in staff seemed friendly and it was busy for food but again we didn’t try any of it. The pool we booked for 9am on the Tuesday as this is closed on Mondays when we arrived the lifeguard was setting up which we were still allowed to come and get changed. We did this and went for our swim. The pool is small but it’s warm and perfect as they do not have a lot of people at the one time. When we got out the pool to get changed the other changing room that we used I can only describe as the worse, dirtiest changing room I’ve seen if I could have got my children out the pool and went straight back to the caravan I would have. The floor had the plastic bit from ladies swimming suit, wrist bands from where previous visitors had been and not put is the bin, just dirt on the floor and given that this had been closed from Thursday night surely it should have been cleaned by someone to a high standard!!!’ I went to reception to complain and got told they would speak to lifeguard about cleaning which I didn’t bother booking pool again as that put us off and we got asked to take our shoes off at the door my shoes were cleaner having walked outside that what the pool side was!! Very disappointing I’m a swimming instructor and have visited a lot of pools and I have never seen a poolside and changing rooms so dirty hopefully when I said to reception they done something about this as it’s a real shame the reason we booked the site was because of having a pool to use as we would normally try and use daily.
