We went for few days during our roundtrip. The place is absolutely marvellous. The hosts Paul and Vanessa really love their job, and you get plenty of tips for trips. You have a fantastic view from the luxurious terrace, highly recommendable.

Oh my word! Heaven is on earth. Absolutely beautiful. Immaculately managed to maximise your experience. Fantastic staff. Great breakfast. If it was not for the gentle little note asking one to be careful with water in this naturally constrained area you would forget that this is real and not a stunning dream. Coming back as soon as we can.

We have never been to a guest house that had so many restrictions placed on its guests and treated people as if they were interlopers. The list of DONT’S on the bed and in the rooms were astounding! The owners, apparently transplanted from Johannesburg, shouldn’t be in the hospitality business if they are so worried about the place. We thought the owner was the pool man as he never acknowledged the guests. We felt sorry for the young manager who was so friendly and the kitchen staff who were all lovely.

My family and I stayed for two nights and what beautiful place. Amazing views with cozy rooms. Calling Paul, Vanessa (the owners) , and the staff helpful and hospitable is an understatement. 10/10 experience, definitely coming back whenever we come back to South Africa.

The perfect place to stay in Wilderness, fab location and great staff especially the host's Vanessa and Paul, who were really helpful and knowledgeable. Fantastic views and beautifully appointed breakfast room with a vast choice of continental or English style breakfast.

We loved this place not only for its breathtaking view and idyllic location on a stunning, peaceful, almost deserted beach, but also for the incredible care and love poured into every detail. The decor and management by Vanessa,Paul , and their amazing team reflect such thoughtfulness that you can’t help but feel warmly welcomed and truly special, making it hard to leave. The interior is beautifully designed and impeccably clean, adding to the overall charm. We will definitely be back!

We have been at the Mes Amis Guesthouse with a large group and it couldnt be better. Vanessa and Paul were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The rooms and the location were fantastic. All the rooms have the most wonderful ocean view, I ve ever seen. Breakfast was delicious and Cat, the manager was the best! Thanks so much vor everything! We definetly come back and enjoy this little paradise again!

Located along the Garden Route, Mes Amis Beach Guest House offers elegant rooms with private entrances and direct access to Wilderness Beach. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and lounges. Each of the rooms is simply decorated and has large sliding doors leading onto a furnished patio, with views of the Indian Ocean (except for the Family Rooms). They are equipped with an private bathroom, and TV. Breakfast is served onsite in our dining room overlooking the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other side. A full english & continental breakfast is offered. There are fantastic restaurants close to the property that can be recommended for lunch and dinner. Guests can also enjoy the various outdoor activities available nearby such as fishing, hiking, kayaking or hang gliding. Free private parking is available. Knyna is a 28 mi drive from the guest house and Mossel Bay is 37 mi away. George Airport is 12 mi from Mes Amis.
