As a solo traveler, I felt very safe throughout my stay. The room was simple and straightforward, which I appreciated. However, I did notice blood stains on both the bedroom and bathroom floors, which was concerning. The service overall could have been better. As a Black woman, I couldn’t help but observe a difference in how guests were treated—I experienced multiple instances where I waited over 20 minutes to receive a menu or place an order, while Dutch guests who arrived after me were helped immediately, particularly by the female staff. Despite that, I would still recommend the resort and would consider staying again. One of the highlights was its convenient location, directly connected to a lively ***** with plenty of restaurants and shops. They also decorated my room for my birthday!!

We went for the second time and the truth is that from the moment we arrived the service was terrible. We arrived at 12:30 p.m. Our check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 p.m. They told us to go to the restaurant and they would let us know when the rooms were ready. At 3:30 p.m. we had to complain, and they told us they were too busy checking in other people and that's why they didn't notify us (they just forgot about us). They put us in a room across from a nightclub, so we couldn't sleep because of the noise, and the room was dirty. The next day they changed our room to one further away from the noise. If it's a relaxing trip, I don't recommend this hotel. The truth is, we'll never return.

We had the pleasure to stay at kontiki for 2 days. It was a very nice experience and definitely recommended to others. We even wanted to book 1 or 2 more days, but everything was already booked.

This hotel is not up to standard. The room smells, there are gnats, the pool is filthy and the day bed is broken.

Our stay at this resort was truly exceptional. We booked the luxury beachfront suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The suite was clean, beautifully decorated, and offered effortless access to the beach just steps from our door. The staff were great, providing prompt assistance with food orders, fresh linens, and quick help when our key card had a minor issue. Their friendliness and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and I would absolutely return. Wonderful place to stay. Lots to do and eat within walking distance. The luxury suites are top notch. The beach club evening parties can get a little noisy late into the night. Overall a great place to stay.
