Hotels Near Addicted To Route 66 in Williams

Fair hotel, in a great location. Very beautiful historical building, but also very old building with rickety floors. However, it’s well kept, clean and staff was very pleasant. The interior of the building is very interestingly decorated, almost like a period museum. I’d stay again. 👌

Good stay, not great. We had a standard suite, which was 2 queens and a sleeper sofa in another room for family of 5. We had plenty of room, but Beds were least comfortable of our trip, very lumpy. But my kid said sleeper sofa was great?!? Service was disappointing. No housekeeping, and when we requested towels for second night, they never came. Eventually went to front desk that was kind of rude about my request. Spencers bar is very cool with the old bar out of England. The train ride is great as is the town of Williams. I might stay here again because not sure there are better options, but it was our worst lodging of our road trip in Arizona. We road train coach, which was perfect. I tried to upgrade to first class but it was sold out. And glad I didn't waste the money. I would not want to ride pullman, but coach was very comfortable with access to cafe car with food and drinks, including local beers.

I wouldn’t even give this place one star! My husband and I had a booking through Hotels.com at the westerner, due to family circumstances we had to cancel our booking. We contacted the motel and we’re told to contact the place we booked through (the owner Nina was telling the employee that was speaking with my husband on the phone what to say the entire time, finally the employee asked for the owner to just speak with us themselves, but the owner refused to do so), we did then call hotels.com and they informed us that they would try to contact the westerner motel for us. They emailed us a few days later saying they were unable to reach the motel and that in order for us to get a refund we would need to call the motel directly. We called the westerner again and the first time my husband asked to speak with the owner of the hotel and we were hung up on, we called back and there was no answer. The next day we called again and the phone was answered by the one of the owners who said he was Nina’s husband. We asked about getting a refund and told him that Hotels.com said that all that they needed to do was reverse the reservation on their end, he then responded “well they are telling you bulls***”. My husband went on to say that we are frustrated with the whole thing and the owner went on to say (and this is a direct quote) “f*** you, I don’t care about anything you have to say, f*** you”. I am absolutely shocked and disgusted at the way that the owner spoke to my husband. Not once did my husband say anything rude or disrespectful or use any profanity, and the owner would only respond with rudeness and profanity towards my husband. I would not recommend anyone staying here.

ATTENTION IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND HAVE A WORKING SERVICE ANIMAL Mind Typos Have trouble typing due to my disability. At approximately 1:56 PM Arizona Time on 2/13/21, I called to confirm my accommodations for my working service animal. I was told by the person who answered the phone who refused to give me his name, I can only assume out of fear, that I will have to bring proof that my dog in deed is a working service animal. I very upset , explained how that is illegal and he then explained to me that he is sorry ,, his son has autism, then told me he died two years ago, and also that it is the policy of management to have guest provide such proof. It is not a matter of what I think about how I was treated for providing fare warning for accommodation that I have every right to ask for, it is a matter of what the Law states and we are all accountable to abide by. I do not need to bring proof of my disability or even divulge any more personal information than is necessary. If you do not like having working service animals at your hotel, do not run a hotel in the United States of America where I am very proud to be protected by the hard work of all our Veterans who fought for us who , many whom have survived and are disabled themselves and certainly hope they do not go through this when they go there. According to the ADA.gov website, a hotel (or any business meant for use by the general public) can not legally request proof of your disability or the need for a service animal. 1. Is the animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? Those are the only questions a company can ask someone with a working service animal. I do not need to bring proof of my disability because I bring it wherever I go because I am the living proof regardless if it is visible or in any way experience by this company or the individiual who answeredd the phone. It is not my problem that the company fails to know modern laws protecting its disabled citizens. I should not have to walk in there making loud, abrupt , noises while wearing a helmet just for people to take the laws seriously that protects accessibility for Americans such as myself. Just because you do not like something or agree with my chosen forms of surviving and navigating this world , does not mean that I should care or even bat an eye, Especially when the law states that what your company is doing is illegal and unethical. If you are disabled , I highly recommend bringing an advocate who is not a working service animal or also disabled because they may not follow the law and make your long trip there even longer. Very sad experience. I wish I could have gone . I was looking forward to the supposed compassion from the owners and staff that I had read so many great reviews about.

Convenient accommodation for 1 night. We did not understand their check-in, we showed up at the correct address, address on the voucher, but the reception sent us to another hotel, a little further away.
