Vacation Village at Williamsburg

The property in and of itself was well maintained, my room was generally clean, and all the amenities within my room worked as expected. However, I requested extra pillows and blankets via the text the front desk feature and didn't receive them despite asking multiple times, so I just gave up. When the AC in my room stopped working, I tried to call the front desk and the phone in the room dialed out to I guess an old number for the front desk and I received an "out of service" message. Thankfully, I still had my welcome brochure and was able to find the number there. I was able to get help relatively quickly. I left my room, but forgot something and came back within 30 minutes and they'd already finished addressing the AC issue and the room was rapidly cooling. All in all not a bad experience, but could've been a little better.

The room was clean. Towels at the pools were plentiful. Only 2 concerns, I requested early check in but was allowed to check in at 4pm. We arrived in the room about 4.05pm and as we were unpacking a housekeeper just walked in stating that he didnt know that we had arrived and he was bringing a toaster. It was alarming that he walked in without knocking.

Very large room at a reasonable price. We booked a two bedrooms, and love to bring parents with us next time.

The staff at check-in who were not there for rci they were there when rci wasn’t there we’re absolutely wonderful. There was the young girl. I cannot remember. Her name but she was just the sweetest thing. Just everybody at the desk was very nice even the young man who wore his hair in front of his face, you could not see his eyes at all, but he was so kind and and just caring we loved it!!!

Can’t wait to come back again 🙂. Fun birthday trip
