We have stayed here a number of times but the hotel went down hill fast when it was bought by foreigners it had gone very dated but tge cleanliness was poor and owners had no idea how to treat guests or run a Hotel. The bar food was rubbish but we went to a local pub for a Meal. we stayed here in June and rebooked this for October only a few weeks ago as it is close to the airport and had parking. However after travelling from Pembrokeshire today and arriving at the hotel to be met by security and be told the hotel had gone bust and is closed 😡 we were never informed not even an email !!!! A lot of explicit words were used today What a nightmare start to a holiday grrrrrrr !! So after running round Bristol looking for a hotel we did get sorted but would never recommend Winford manor unless it has a complete update and is run by British people with the correct attitude towards its guests 😡😡😡 by the way would highly recommend the INN at Yanleigh

We've stayed here a few times in the past and have always found it good. However we were due to stay in August but had an email about 6 weeks before saying our room was cancelled because of building work. We booked somewhere else as we were flying from Bristol, and the taxi driver we booked said the hotel is now going to be used for asylum seekers. There is uproar in the nearby village over this, so don't expect to be able to book this hotel for the foreseeable future.

We used this place due to convince of near airport, left car all week and stayed one night on returning from holiday. Got bitten by bed bugs. Both my partner and I received several itchy bites to the bottom of our legs. Which we didn't have before our stay. We had the bites checked by a nurse who confirmed the bites were bed bug bites, something we have never encountered before. Put a very bad end to our holiday. But to cap it off, no breakfast was available in the morning, which meant a drive to find somewhere. Which we found down the road at Premier Inn, I'd suggest staying there!

We stayed here the night before we flew out of Bristol Which we have done many occasions but this time was auful and would never go thete again. It's under new management who no longer offer transfers to the air port. A taxi will cost you between £20 and £28 for a one way trip. The new manager is a really horrible man his manner needs a lots of work. Hes very rude and not at all helpful. The room we pd for was not the one we got and he didn't care less when this was pointed out to him The hotel looks very run down and needs a lot of work from the main stairs carpets with holes in to rooms with wall paper peeling of and flaking paint every where. Used to love staying there but I will never use this hotel again

Perfectly fine - the room was fairly large. Everything worked ok. Clean, receptionist was polite an warm and showed us to our room. My only issue was I found the bed super uncomfortable. This may be me as I prefer a really hard bed. We were only there one night so it wasn’t too much of an issue

We needed a family room for a night before a hideously early start flying from Bristol. The exterior is a bit of a mish mash - old v new - but we had 2 large rooms and a shared large bathroom between 2 adults with 3 teenage children with one entrance so if you like a large suite. All on the ground floor so no issues lugging cases from the car. Great dinner at the bar and really comfy beds. I would have given 5 stars but! The shower room lacked a little surface cleaning (easy to miss, I do at home, but not so great when you know others have been in that room) and the shower control fell off when I started the shower...!!! But the staff were lovely and it was so reasonable - £120 for 5 of us and 2 large bedrooms - with good food all priced at £10 or thereabouts for the main, so yes, very much recommended.

Nice clean rooms and bathrooms. Good value. Quiet. Staff friendly. Gardens spacious too. Enjoyed stay. We had 2 rooms. Family room had 2 bedrooms which was a bonus. Didn't ear breakfast. Would go back.

After a long journey, we decided to book a hotel due to exhaustion from driving. Upon looking online and checking our options, this hotel came up, and we booked at around 11.30pm. We arrived around half an hour later and entered reception. After pressing the ring doorbell a few times, someone answered and started that the hotel closed at 23.00, and that we could not check in despite their website allowing us to book. Granted, some hotels have a check in time restriction and they won’t let you book after a certain time, however this isn’t the case with this hotel. Due to the time, this has left us with nowhere to stay, and an extremely, extremely poor experience of this hotel. I’ve stayed here many times on business and further recommended it to others, however I’ll definitely avoid in the future and equally genuinely advise all others to do the same; there’s far better hotels out there who actually value peoples custom and don’t leave them with nowhere to sleep!
