Astenturm Hotel

"Our stay at the hotel Astenturm did not meet our expectations. Two days before arrival we received a message that check-in at the Dorint Hotel in Winterberg was made. Hotel is about 4 km from the Astenturm. At the arrival at the Astenturm there was no staff member who was powerful in the German language. On the question of the park card it was just called it to stop. The way to the room was described only with rooms there. Room was not cleaned every day so there were no fresh towels. Furthermore, the ties of the predecessor were still in the bathroom waste shop. Reclamation at the reception was not understood due to lack of German knowledge. I called it colleagues. Today's departure day there was no breakfast as it's rest day. Therefore, we saved the lacking breakfast. On the other days, breakfast was a conception. 2 years ago we were enthusiastic with hotel and breakfast. The choice of the so-called breakfast buffet corresponded to a 1 star hotel. For the missed breakfast we ask for a refund of €18"

"We had booked by email and received confirmation, but when we arrived at 18.30, the host woman looked a little strange when she resolved her puzzle. There was 1 ether. It was fresh in terms of temperature and antique. After ordering the drinks and the dishes, it took a while before the eea came, and in the meantime a free basket of bread with smell was put down. A small half hour later, the dishes were served very hot and were of reasonable quality, and fortunately another Dutch family and two ladies from Belgium came, and we calculated a reasonable price. It was the only hotel restaurant in Zuschen, but for us a result in our last night to not ride far for a restaurant, because the huge amount of snow did not really make it possible."

"We booked two apartments by e-mail and received a written confirmation for this. In our email we even had explicitly asked whether we should make the booking via the website, but we were assured that this was not necessary. We had a car pan and therefore called to ask when we can check in. Suddenly we were told that our booking was "not in the system" and that no emails could be found, although we had the evidence black on white and the email address was correct. On the phone we offered to pass the confirmation immediately, but the staff only thought we would still have a pity. Although clear confirmation was made, we were told that the apartments were full and we were there with dogs without accommodation. We were offered no help or alternative, not even the attempt to provide us with another accommodation. Very unprofessional, absolutely unacceptable and disappointing."
