"Clean, accessible and great location for Heswall. Comfy bed and great pillows. Fan helped with heat. Staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble."

Bridge Inn Hotel

Bridge Inn Hotel

📍 Bolton Rd, Bebington
★★ 7.2 (75 reviews)

"The room was quite large, but the hotel's decor was very British and the facilities were old. The showerhead was slow to spray water, and the showerhead chain in my room was broken. This hotel is located in a village, quite far from the city center; a taxi ride to Liverpool city center takes about 25 minutes. The room facilities are rather old, and the front desk, kitchen, and restaurant staff are all quite busy. For breakfast, you need to go downstairs half an hour early, otherwise you'll have to wait a long time. Overall, it was barely acceptable."

"All good on nye to see a band - the layout in the room wasn’t great and the music was very loud couldn’t have a conversation even though we were at the back . However the unexpected bonus of burger and chips was fantastic"

Travelodge Wirral Eastham

Travelodge Wirral Eastham

📍 1408 New Chester Rd, Birkenhead, Wirral
★★★ 7.0 (42 reviews)

"Rooms - Sprayed with something chemically/strong smelling to the point you cannot breathe and are coughing constantly. Mould around the bath/shower. Very bare and outdated. Reception staff - Nice enough at first but were not interested in any issues with the room "Don't know what to say". Also unaware of any procedures to right their wrongs. Car park - Full of rubbish and pot holes. Hotel grounds - Stank of ****. Breakfast To Go - No suitable option for dairy allergy. This hotel is not suitable for families and I'm appalled at the lack of response from Travelodge about the issues we have faced. Would not recommend this hotel, or any of their others now."

Bridge Inn Hotel ★★
"Port Sunlight is a gem of a place loads of historic buildings and then this dive of a pub restaurant and hotel is in it. The food was over cooked and terrible to the point that I skipped breakfast the room was dated but not in a good way like the old buildings around it with characters but in the way that a cheap seaside B&B might be in need of decorating and modernisation. It had a cosy bed. They take your money from your card before you see the room for a reason. Though a strange transaction had been attempted on my card and I had to cancel my card so I then had to pay in cash due to their card machine being down in the hotel part of the inn. It said on the booking no children and yet a child was running around all night and in the morning. If it had been £30 to £40 it would of been worth it as it was it was double that price."

"Very pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless. The bathroom was sparkling clean. The only hitch was although there were 2 mirrors 1 in the bathroom and a long 1 on the side wall.It would have been nice to have 1 above the table where you could sit and do your hair and makeup. The lady on Reception was very pleasant and helpful she told us where to catch the bus to go into Liverpool. We will definitely come back.I think the receptionists name was Dawn."

Premier Inn Wirral (Greasby) ★★★
"Staff welcoming and helpful. Room was very tired, in need of a total refresh. The bed as expected at a premiere inn was very comfortable. There was a horrible stale smell in main corridor to rooms. We had a ground floor room, the sound proofing was not very good, we could hear the upstairs occupants walking around their room. The pub/restaurant next door was bright and welcoming, the food was good."
