"The room was quite large, but the hotel's decor was very British and the facilities were old. The showerhead was slow to spray water, and the showerhead chain in my room was broken. This hotel is located in a village, quite far from the city center; a taxi ride to Liverpool city center takes about 25 minutes. The room facilities are rather old, and the front desk, kitchen, and restaurant staff are all quite busy. For breakfast, you need to go downstairs half an hour early, otherwise you'll have to wait a long time. Overall, it was barely acceptable."

"All good on nye to see a band - the layout in the room wasn’t great and the music was very loud couldn’t have a conversation even though we were at the back . However the unexpected bonus of burger and chips was fantastic"

"Very pleasantly surprised.The room was spotless.The bathroom was sparkling clean.The only hitch was although there were 2 mirrors 1 in the bathroom and a long 1 on the side wall.It would have been nice to have 1 above the table where you could sit and do your hair and makeup. The lady on Reception was very pleasant and helpful she told us where to catch the bus to go into Liverpool.We will definitely come back.I think the receptionists name was Dawn."

"Beautiful location, lovely hotel. Staff were helpul and friendly. Nothing was too much of a trouble. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The spa is amazing and the treatments were reasonably priced. Food was very good. Would reccommend and would stay there again!"

Travelodge Wirral Eastham

"This is probably the worst stay we've had at a Travelodge with very noisy guests next to us with the children from the next room running up and down the corridor constantly till 12am the room wasn't clean either the ceiling had stains on it and the cups weren't clean. We stay in lots of Travelodges and have never had a bad experience until now as our fellow guests were totally unruly and the staff didn't seem bothered."
