Stayed for the first time in April. Liked it a lot so went back in September. Superb room, very good food, excellent unobtrusive service, plus access from the grounds to the most beautiful beach. We especially liked the a la carte arrangement for dinner. My wife eats little, I eat too much when given the opportunity. All being well, we will be back again early next year.

We have just returned home after a wonderful holiday at The Watersmeet Hotel. Excellent Accommodation, ambience, staff, views,and First Class service . Fine Dining in the amazing restaurant as well as a very enjoyable indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. We can’t wait to come back.

Had the most amazing stay in the Lundy suite. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do more to help. The food in the restaurant was amazing and fresh and the outdoor and indoor swimming pools were a lovely extra. The while atmosphere is so relaxing and calm. Will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff for all those effort in making our stay so wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay at Watersmeet and to be honest we can’t wait to go back. The stay was very special, magical and we cannot fault the lovely spacious room and balcony overlooking Combesgate Beach. The location is superb with a nice 10-15 walk into Woolacombe along The Esplanade. The food was very good along with the hotel staff. We cannot find any genuine fault with the hotel and we can’t wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Watersmeet hotel mainly due to the lovely location facing the sea side and facilities on offer which made this one of the most memorable stays for us. The staff were lovely and were very helpful. Loved the outdoor pool area and the front garden. We witnessed the most amazing sunset while relaxing in this area. Also it provides access to the beach below. Also loved the indoor pool and steam room. Would definitely come back again.

We had a fabulous long weekend at The Watersmeet and our large party was looked after beautifully by all the staff. Everyone was unfailingly friendly and keen to help - we really appreciated all that you did to make it another special year. Delicious food, comfy beds and views that take your breath away. What more could you ask for?! Thank you Ania, Mark, Howie et al - you make a lovely hotel into something remarkable. See you next year.

21 of us turned up for a long weekend and we loved it.We were absolutely chaotic with our food orders,especially our cooked breakfast orders and yet Howie and Teresa were patient, charming and went the extra mile to look after us. Our age profile was 87 to 5 and yet all of us loved our stay. Great food, refreshingly good value wines that meant we drank more and did not feel ripped off. Stunning views and the smiling Ania and Mark running the show with a generosity of spirit that makes this a must stay hotel in North Devon with the best dinning room view in the UK.

My son and I have been visiting the Watersmeet for a father and son surfing weekend for nearly 30 years. Over that time there have been many changes, but always for the good. The rooms have all been upgraded, outside seating areas vastly expanded, dining made less formal and so on. It’s super position gives such fabulous views of the coastline, and direct steps down to the beach unique in the area. It’s a fixture in our calendar and I just hope we can carry on this wonderful tradition for many years to come.

What a great hotel. Stayed 4 nights. 28 bedrooms so not too big. Parking. Indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, and steam room. Invigorating outdoor pool. Fantastic views. 2 coves down steps. Walking distance into Woolacombe. Good choice of cooked breakfast. Food served all day, uncluding afternoon tea. Had a very enjoyable evening meal. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.
