Amazing place, very unique experience. Great food in both quality and taste. The only con is we came here in summer. It’s a little bit hot because there is no air condition in the tent. However, it’s still highly recommended to visit at least once.

This was a perfect romantic weekend away, everything was very well thought of. It was a quiet & really relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the forest, not many people around and we were able to fully disconnect. We arrived around 2pm and there was afternoon tea ready for us to enjoy (cakes& tea) which was carefully curated. Dinner & breakfast was included and the food was in both occasion delicious and very high quality. They even packed us a lunch to take with us on our last day which was made with love once again. All staff were lovely too. Would highly recommend!!!

The price of 3000 is not worth the service. There is no wifi and no hair dryer. The meal package is OK. It is just a home-style cooking method. It is OK.

If you love being in nature and at the same time close to the beach, then you have to stay at Paperbark camp. The location is close to all the famous beaches in Jervis Bay. It is 20 minutes away from Hyams beach by car. The tent is spacious and luxurious. It has a heater if it gets cold. They have kayaks and canoes for free at the camp.

Everything was amazing! The food was incredible and I will go so far as to say the best meal I have ever had! The bed was super comfortable, facilities spot on and location was, as you can imagine peaceful and tranquil. I can't wait to go back. Service was impeccable with a shout out to Elke, thank you for creating such an amazing stay 👏

Review for Paperbark Camp, Jervis Bay Paperbark Camp is one of the most luxurious glamping experiences you can find in Australia. The best part of our stay was definitely the stunning tent accommodation spacious, beautifully styled, and designed to immerse you in nature without sacrificing comfort. Waking up to the sounds of birds in such a peaceful setting was a truly memorable experience. The quality of the room was exceptional, with thoughtful touches that made it feel special and unique. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere of the camp was calm and relaxing perfect for a getaway to unwind. However, while the tents and overall setting lived up to the luxury promise, there are areas that need improvement, especially given Paperbark Camp is rated as a 4-star hotel. Food was the biggest letdown. Breakfast was quite limited, there was no lunch option, and dinner had very few choices. There was also no way to purchase snacks or small items on-site, which felt inconvenient. If you're after more variety or budget-friendly options, you'll need to drive into Nowra. For the high price, we expected a more complete experience. It’s definitely a “must-try once” place if you're after a luxury glamping escape but it doesn’t offer the value or services you'd expect to make it a regular destination.

Architect designed with both the environment and guest experience in mind, Paperbark Camp is ecotourism at its best, managing to provide a beautiful and comfortable base from which to explore the local area and to enjoy the tranquility of this natural Australian bushland setting.

Located on the banks of the Currambene Creek, Jervis Bay, Paperbark Camp is ideal for those who love being close to nature, but appreciate life's little luxuries, not to mention wonderful food prepared daily by the camps chefs using local produce.

Accommodation consists of elevated safari style tents that have their own open-air ensuite bathroom with bath, King/Twin beds, luxury 100% cotton linen and towels, locally made furniture as well as a wrap around verandah for sitting and enjoying the sounds of the bush.

The Gunyah provides a central communal area for eating and relaxing with outside dining on the verandah during the warmer months, and in the colder months an open fire creates a cosy atmosphere for reading, playing games or sharing travel adventures with other guests.

Activities within the camp include canoeing, bike riding, bushwalking, birdwatching & spotlighting. Or spend an afternoon on the verandah reading that book you have been meaning to get to for ages, keeping an eye out for a passing kangaroo or the majestic black cockatoo.

Jervis Bay itself offers spectacular diving, snorkelling, bushwalking in the Booderee National Park, beautiful beaches, surfing, dolphin, whale and seal watching, golf and tennis. A short scenic drive away is Arthur Boyds Bundanon, local vineyards with cellar doors as well as the regional villages of Berry and Kangaroo Valley.

Paperbark Camp offers tranquility, seclusion and relaxation in a unique and comfortable environment- a welcome retreat in todays hectic world.
