This place is a gem! It’s like your typical hostel physically but because everyone meditates daily so it literally is a Zen Harmony house, such tranquility. And the meditations were amazing! During Meditation you sit however is comfortable & Ray (the owner) will sometimes have guided meditations for new people. Ray is such a peaceful & gentle soul so it is a gift to have him lead meditations. The icing on the cake are the shelter pets, so sweet, especially the dog Jessie who meditates with us! I was a bit worried at first that it could be some kind of gimmick or that people would be kind of performing Zen and not actually being it. But everyone, all of the staff and people when I was there, were so light spirited and playful, it was just such an authentic experience and felt SO safe like you’re at home. I’m happy that I randomly found this place because I had never previously heard of it and now can’t speak highly enough of it.

I paid for my son to stay here. he got robbed by a traveller on the first night -took his cash, his medication and half a loaf of bread. Next night he walked into his room and another person was going through his stuff. He left early as he did not feel safe here -they refunded us for the nights that he did not stay as we had paid for a week - but they did not seem too bothered about any of this. Regards.

My experience in this house has been marvelous! Great location, full of comfort, clean and quiet. All the people that I meet here was lovely and full of interesting things to tell. I’ve enjoyed the meditations and my breakfast in the garden everyday! Bathrooms are clean and everything is really organized! Thanks Ray, Sean, Joe and John. I’ll see you guys soon!
