The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean with friendly staff. Guests enjoy reasonably priced, delicious meals. However, the location in an older building may be a drawback for some.

My boyfriend and I visited the Inn whilst staying in the area first for drinks and then we booked a table a few days later. We were shown our table and the seating was dirty and lacking padding but we went with the flow and ordered drinks and then our food, the service at this point was prompt and the meals were okay. I had the gammon and my boyfriend had the cheese and bacon burger. The burger was on the small side and it was flooded with stringy cheese, the gammon was a good size but the chips were limp and lacking in flavour. Whilst eating it soon became clear that it was just one lady running the busy bar and the restaurant at the same time. The other girl that was working had gone home. We finished our meals and waited but no one came along to check on us so after 15 minutes we felt so unwelcome we chose to go to the bar pay the bill and leave, no option of a pudding. The bar was busy and you could see the lady had no help but having visited for dinner and leaving still hungry is not good.

Our grandaughters' 1st birthday party was in the spacious hall upstairs, so afterwards some of us booked a table in the restaurant and decided on the 2 course special (they do offers, 2 or 3 courses - great value). We all went for the beef roast, and it was delicious! We'd love to know your gravy recipe....yum! Afterwards, we had the sticky toffee pudding and the apple crumble, both with custard. All in all, it was a very good day, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Highy recommended.

Just returned home from a stay at The Bulls Head Inn and a trip to Cheltenham Races. Rob and Emma went above and beyond in making us feel welcome, locals were so friendly and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. Wonderful old building which the couple are improving bit by bit. I would definitely return and also as a solo traveller, it was that welcoming. Many thanks for a memorable stay and the very best for the future.

An absolutely enjoyable stay in this quaint tudor building. The manager Emma was amazing and a superwoman who couldn't do enough for us. Family joined us for a meal on Saturday and the food was fantastic. Enjoyed a drink with the locals on Saturday who were all very friendly. We will definitely be going back

Stopped by here as was staying in a cabin nearby and the food we had was lovely, we had the garlic bread and a lovely tomato soup for starters followed by a chicken burger and steak and onion pie and then a dessert of brownie and bread and butter pudding, all the food itself was lovely and the service was great, I didn't get the servers name who served us but she was lovely and if I carried cash I'd of easily tipped her for her lovely service.

Held my grandmother wake here recently after her funeral at Westhall park a mile away. Rob and his staff couldn't of done a better job, it really did make that sad day go so much easier for us as a family. Food was great and nothing was a problem for this great team. Thanks
