Shrubbery Guest House

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Shrubbery can't fault this guest house Lesley the host is very friendly breakfast was great full English plenty of tea and toast sets you up for the day we had room one had all the facilities you needed tea coffee hot chocolate plus biscuits also wide screen tv hairdryer, fan, radio alarm clock, plenty of storage.also nice bathroom it's about a 20 minute walk into the city centre also bus stop nearby we had a parking permit which was a bonus for the square a few minutes walk away we would have no hesitation in recommending this guest house to anyone visiting Worcester. We booked 2 nights at The Shrubbery Guest House. The accommodation was lovely, clean and homely. Lesley kept in contact as our arrival time was delayed. It was a lovely welcome and she let us know all the places we could eat. There are a few things that Lesley had spot on that made it clear she thinks about her guests. The pillows were nice and supportive and we got 2 each, whilst this may not be on everyone’s tick list it was like mine at home. There was plenty of tea,coffee & sugar in the room so no need to decide if you should save them for the morning. It was lovely and warm on arrival and when you got up in the morning, heated towel rails so nice warm towels after your shower. Breakfast choice was really good, the full English was lovely and Lesley always offered more coffee and toast which was lovely. All in all a lovely couple of days with a welcoming friendly host, would really recommend a stay here.

Lovely little guest house within 20 minutes walk into Worcester. The host Lesley could not do enough for us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and she really had thought of everything. The breakfast was amazing .Good quality bacon & sausage, tea tray was well stocked too.

Good location, only 15 minute walk into town. Lesley was a lovely host who cooked a good breakfast, filled you up for the day. Room was clean and tea tray was well stocked. Sadly the shower was not the best as lukewarm at best and not at all powerful, not sure if this was because we were on the top floor but was the only thing that let the place down. Otherwise a lovely stay.

3 Fantastic days stay at The Shrubbery guesthouse. We can't fault it at all. Great host Wonderful breakfast. Rooms were spotless and clean towels each day. Spent several nights in The Saracens head pub just five minutes walk away.....great beers and attentive staff. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent B&B, room was clean with modern bathroom. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The host was welcoming and very helpfull. Its a 15min walk from the main centre, but is nice to walk along the river path into town. ..................
