The property’s location is incredible. The minute you walk in to the lobby you can see the ocean and feel you’ve really gotten away. The views and access to both ocean and intercostal are super convenient and I enjoyed being able to do the quick 5-minute walk into town. The bedding and mattresses were some of the most comfortable I can remember. I also appreciated the fast WiFi and streaming which was great for the work I had to do in my room. As someone who likes a quick breakfast, The overnight oats and cold brew at Bar Duna hit the spot. Entire staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and hospitable. I will be back for some real R&R during the summer!

Such a great stay at this totally new and renovated resort just steps from the beach on one side and super fun activities on the sound side (plus a secret beach area where we had the entire beach on the Sound to ourselves). The rooms had nice touches like a kettle to make my own coffee and tea, a fridge to store all my snacks & beverages, a retro Bluetooth radio plus brand new bathrooms and really comfortable beds. We had signature craft cocktails and charcuterie at Bar Duna and a tasty lunch at the pool bar Blockade Surf Bar. Breakfast and dinner in La Duna Paradiso with seating on the outdoor patio was delicious and beautiful way to start/end the day. All in all- a fantastic stay - we will definitely come back!

We LOVED it here!!! Rooms are beautiful! Our view was incredible!! Beautiful balcony to sit out on!! The entire property is so clean and well cared for!!! It’s so welcoming here and everyone, I mean ALL staff are kind, friendly and very helpful!!! It’s steps from the beach, with complementary chairs and umbrellas. The pool and lawn area are so much fun! Plenty of chairs, tables, umbrellas and games to play in the lawn! We had THE BEST time! We will be back!! If you are going to Wrightsville beach this IS the place to stay! (shout out to Robert who helped me change our reservation! He was so helpful, professional and kind!!)

Been coming here for 10-12 years, several times a year. Love the makeover by new management. Staff is still professional, friendly, and responsive as always. Nice how they opened up the lobby area and updated pool bar furniture. Love to stay in harbor view room and watch boats and sunset.

We enjoyed our room and view of the ocean. Thank you for a special experience. We felt welcome and well taken care of. The only thing that did not work was the cable tv but we did not really watch any TV. It was all pixeled out. We will visit again sometime.

Great place. You get the ocean front and the sound. Front desk staff were outstanding. Place was clean and the outside bar is a great feature. The entire family enjoyed the outside yoga class. Having the chairs and umbrellas available on the beach for you is a great feature as well

I checked in this afternoon and am disappointed about a few basic things a hotel at this price point should offer. First of all, the in room “coffee “ is instant. They have a pot that heats up tap water. No wine glasses or corkscrew in the room. The TV selection does NOT include NBC. We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Great location! Easy to walk to restaurants and shops in the area. Complimentary parking, bikes, and beach chairs/umbrellas. We loved our room too, had a nice ocean view. It was clean and plenty of space for us to put a playpen in for our baby. The hotel was very clean too, and the staff were always helpful and friendly! We loved everything about the hotel, except…. The poolside bar. The food was good, but both times we ordered I saw our food sitting on the counter and had to ask the bartender if it was ours to receive it. Secondly, the bartenders didn’t make good drinks. If it was a simple rum and Coke they got you, but we ordered margaritas and Mai Tais and both were made wrong… and didn’t taste good. The margaritas (we got two rounds-hoping round two would be better) were made by different bartenders and both came out completely different. Which was a bummer because who doesn’t love a nice marg by the pool, right! We gave them the benefit of the doubt, the bartenders were young and hopefully with more training they will improve. Other than the poolside bar, the experience was amazing. We will definitely be back!
