Snow Valley Ridge Mountain Dwelling Inn Reviews

This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at, from Harbin to Snow Town to Snow Valley. Compared to the over-commercialized Snow Town, Snow Valley is much more authentic. There are recreational facilities right in front of the guesthouse, like snow tubing, and the kids had a blast. The guesthouse owner guided us every step of the way on how to traverse Yangcao Mountain from Snow Town, including luggage transfer, to smoothly reach Snow Valley. On the second day, we were lucky enough to see rime ice on Wusong Ridge. For these three days, we just returned to the warm guesthouse to rest whenever we were tired from playing. We didn't want to go out at night, so we ate in the guesthouse kitchen. The kids devoured the 'Di San Xian' (stir-fried potato, pepper, and eggplant) and candied sweet potato made by the chef. After eating our fill, we slept, truly experiencing the life of a genuine Northeastern family. We were very happy. I wish the owner a prosperous business and hope to visit again.

This place is really superbb , clean, beautiful and new design room... It really nice, host also really helpful... In front they have a sledding tube that very interesting for a family with a kid, and I also enjoy they sled.... For location it took 1km for night happiness vibe area other than that if you find a privacy this place already superb...

Perfect!!! Really happy to have stayed here. The owner and her families are all so kind. She’s very helpful in arranging bus from harbin to the homestay (vice versa), activities at Wu Song Long, riding horse sledge to tour around the village, and arranging bus to Snow Town. Breakfast provided were plain porridge, hard boiled egg, mantou, and vegetables. There’s a slide you can play behind the house. Omg so beautiful! The view from the room is amazing. You can use the flexible shower head as a bidet since the sliding door can move both ways. Very comfortable room. You can wear your normal indoor outfit. So happy we get to experience snow fall during our stay. Im so happy for having to stay here! Muslim friendly! So many malaysian hahaha.

The location is superb, with its own sliding ridge at the backyard. The backyard itself is so big, unlimited and free to play. The host is so friendly and kind enough to pick us up, even book and set up our activities during our stay. A very wonderful stay, recommended!

An absolutely wonderful stay! A big thank you to the hostess and our guide. We came with our child, and the experience was fantastic. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the guesthouse environment was lovely. The hostess even gave us a complimentary 'splashing water into ice' experience and some frozen pears and persimmons. Plus, there's free shuttle service to the main street, which is super convenient. The best part, though, is that right next to the guesthouse, there's a snow slope and slide built by the owners themselves, which the kids absolutely loved! 👍 On the second day, the guesthouse guide accompanied us throughout our trip to see the rime ice, taking photos and videos with great patience. We're very grateful!

This room is absolutely gorgeous, everything about it is perfect, I love it so much!

I don't understand how this place got so many good reviews! The description mentioned unique activities like 'splashing water into ice' and 'making candied hawthorn skewers,' and with all the positive feedback, I was really looking forward to it. But I left completely disappointed – there was nothing there! The only good thing was the large skiing area. The breakfast was a set menu, so they should probably remove 'buffet' from the description. For this price point, there's no TV or projector. Overall, it's not good value for money, and there are plenty of cheaper places to stay nearby.

The hotel is very clean and in a good area, not very crowded. I had a good and peaceful stay there.

The room was very clean, and I was surprised to find a smart toilet. There's also a free breakfast in the morning. When I mentioned the Wi-Fi wasn't working at night, they had someone fix it the next day. The landlady is really nice; she helped us book train and attraction tickets, and even called to wake us up when we overslept! She provided leg gaiters for our trip to the snowy areas and a companion for our visit to Wusong Ridge. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
