Wuhan Marriott Hotel Wuchang

The room facilities are complete and comfortable, and the service attitude is good. Metro Line 4 is right outside the door, making transportation very convenient. Across the road, there's a shopping plaza with a supermarket, small restaurants, and more. Although the metro goes directly to an office building, you still need to enter the hotel's ground floor lobby from the street.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk checked me in quickly and efficiently, and my room even had a view of the city's landmarks, which I loved. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The hotel is relatively new and very conveniently located near Qingyuzui subway station, making it easy to get to various attractions by taxi. The room was clean and spacious. I was hoping to watch the sunset over East Lake, but it was cloudy the whole time. Room service was prompt with deliveries, and overall, I had a very comfortable stay.

Had a fantastic stay! The room was spacious and bright, with incredible high-rise night views and stunning sunset scenery. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were top-notch. The staff were all incredibly attentive and friendly, making my entire stay so comfortable. The breakfast was also amazing, with a wide variety of local snacks. I'll definitely be back!

The room offers an impeccable view and an unbeatable price. The on-call service was warm and comforting. The front desk staff who worked the last two days were exceptionally good. **61st Floor Executive Lounge:** I especially want to commend the lounge manager, Christine Wang Xiao. During our meal in the lounge, a family with a baby was quite noisy. The manager immediately noticed the discomfort and dissatisfaction of other guests. She reacted swiftly, offering compensation and successfully calming everyone down. With a manager like her, there will never be any service issues with the lounge team. I hope you continue to maintain this level of enthusiastic service! ❤️ Next time I travel, this will be my top choice for accommodation. The pool was also fantastic and very photogenic. I didn't bring a swim cap, and the staff lent me a small one – that’s the epitome of thoughtful and excellent service, salute!

The room was spacious and airy, with modern facilities throughout. The bathroom amenities were of excellent quality. The room offered stunning high-rise night views and lake views, and the scenic bathtub was a real highlight. The lighting in the entire room was fantastic, it was spotlessly clean, and the service was attentive and warm.

This is my second stay at this Marriott. The lake view is unbeatable, offering an unobstructed panorama from the lake-view rooms. The hotel is quite new, and they even prepared some delicious local snacks for us. The breakfast is excellent; I highly recommend trying the various noodle dishes.

The view from the room was nothing like the pictures shown on Trip.com. The cleanliness was appalling, with dust and grime in multiple spots. The light switches and even the menu on the table had thick grease stains, and there was a huge oil stain on the laundry list itself. The moment I walked in, my hands got sticky with oil – it was truly disgusting. I requested a room change because of the disappointing view, but even the new room didn't match the Trip.com photos. It was nowhere near having a 'panoramic lake view'; instead, it offered a meager side glimpse of a small patch of lake, with ugly building rooftops dominating the rest of the view. This hotel absolutely does not deserve to be on China's TOP 50 Most Beautiful Hotels list! While waiting for the room change, we went to the hotel's seafood buffet restaurant. The very first appetizer served had an insect in it. The staff's initial reaction was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive, as if it had nothing to do with them. Later, another staff member processed a refund. We couldn't tolerate eating there any longer and left immediately. (Note: This restaurant offers low-priced group deals on ** and **, which makes it extremely crowded and noisy. On top of that, there's extensive construction outside the windows, making for a truly awful dining environment! Hotel guests should think twice before choosing it!) The hotel's pillows and bedding were also extremely subpar. Some pillows were too high, others too soft, making it impossible to get any sleep on either. The bedspread material was very stiff and made a loud noise with every movement. What's more ridiculous is that the twin room type has an open-plan bathroom with an incredibly poorly designed sliding door. You have to lean way over the bathtub to push or pull it, and it makes a loud noise when closing. If two people are staying, it will 100% disturb the other person's sleep. Overall, this is an extremely poor, one of the worst, old five-star hotels that doesn't live up to its reputation. It was the worst night my friend and I have ever experienced in Wuhan. It completely put me off Marriott, even making me fearful! I will never stay at a Marriott again.

The Xiangyang Marriott Hotel rooms are quite new, and the hygiene is well-maintained. The breakfast at the restaurant offers a rich variety of options. However, its location isn't ideal for walking to tourist attractions, so you'll have to rely on taxis. Additionally, the elevator system for the upper floors isn't very efficient, leading to longer waiting times. This definitely needs improvement!
