Shuiyunlan Hotel, Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Wuhan

Our family trip to Wuhan brought an unexpected and delightful surprise: this truly hidden gem of a hotel. Initially, we booked it last minute, quite prepared to switch accommodations if it didn't meet our expectations. Little did we know, the stay far exceeded anything we imagined, so much so that we extended our stay for three more days, reluctant to leave so soon. The hotel's location is perfect. Nestled in a bustling area of Hankou, it somehow maintains a serene tranquility. A subway station is right outside, offering convenient access to all parts of the city. It was incredibly easy to walk to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, the Yangtze River beachfront, the artsy old streets of Li Huangpi Road, and the retro alleys of Xian'anfang. Whether we were heading to Yellow Crane Tower, Hubei Provincial Museum, or taking the subway to transfer to the Optics Valley Skyrail, our entire itinerary was smooth and stress-free, saving us a lot of travel time and making our trip with the kids exceptionally relaxed. What truly impressed us wasn't just the location, but the hotel's meticulous and warm service, from top to bottom. No matter how late we returned from our excursions, the front desk staff always greeted us with a gentle smile and a polite, warm demeanor. The catering staff in the buffet restaurant constantly monitored the food supply, replenishing dishes as soon as they were empty. The food was abundant and fresh, never appearing depleted or carelessly prepared. The housekeeping aunties were genuinely warm and sincere, showing kindness in every small detail. Wuhan in summer is scorching hot, with oppressive heat everywhere. Yet, the thoughtful details throughout this hotel made our family feel completely at home in this 'furnace city,' truly experiencing the warmth of hospitality. They proactively offered guests exclusive member discounts for extended stays, which was incredibly practical and thoughtful. The air conditioning was turned on in our room beforehand, so we were greeted with a cool oasis upon entering. Complimentary bottled water and portable energy packs were provided. There was even a handwritten, heartfelt note in the room, every word chosen with care. These little things continuously filled our trip with warmth and感動 (a sense of being deeply moved). After several days of travel, we weren't just captivated by Wuhan's vibrant streetscapes but also deeply touched by the dedicated and passionate spirit of the staff here. Such thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive service is undoubtedly the result of the hotel management team's consistent training and rigorous refinement. While few jobs last a lifetime, the sense of responsibility, warmth, and patience learned in this role will become a valuable asset in their future lives. This trip allowed us to see stunning landscapes, experience the city's pulse, and gain unique life insights. We felt a strong sense of reluctance to leave, lingering over the scenery of Wuhan, this river city, and even more so over the unexpected warmth we encountered on this journey.

The environment here is pretty good, the location is excellent, and there's plenty of natural light. Any requests are handled quickly. The staff are all very friendly and always greet you warmly, whether it's good morning or good evening. If I come to Wuhan again, I'd probably choose this place again. Looking forward to my next visit!

I got a free room upgrade, and the layout was excellent. Because I'm sensitive to noise, the front desk gave me a room away from the street. The cleanliness and service were both great, especially how the front desk staff always greeted me when I came and went. The room details were also very thoughtful; the bathroom had hooks which made changing clothes after a shower really convenient, and earplugs were provided. My room was on the 14th floor, and the laundry room was on the 15th. After washing my clothes, I left a note asking for them to be dried, and when I returned to the hotel later, I found they had already been dried for me. The hotel is very close to Xian'anfang and getting a taxi is easy. It's a hotel with incredibly high value for money.

I stayed here once before with a friend when visiting Wuhan, and now I'm back again to catch a show. The room has excellent natural light, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the laundry detergent provided at the sink is a nice touch. The hotel service is great; they called before check-in to confirm my arrival time and prepare the room, and they even sent a Wuhan travel guide. Staff members greet you warmly, and the robot delivery service is very convenient. The hotel's location is perfect too; just a few minutes walk to X118 and the pedestrian street if you head right.

This hotel completely blew me away! It's exactly what I'd carefully picked. My best friend and I came to Wuhan for a summer trip, and we booked this hotel because it was quite a good deal, cheaper than others for two nights. I initially thought, 'Okay, maybe the space will be a bit small,' but when we walked into the room, it was incredible! Seriously, I won't say much more, but even their lowest-priced room is only 22 square meters, yet it feels so spacious. The design must be really good, and kudos to the owner for choosing such a fantastic design – big thumbs up! 👍 My experience was excellent! 😻 On the first day, I washed my hair, and I absolutely loved the hairdryer! The temperature control was perfect; it wasn't too slow but also not too hot. The electrical purchasing department deserves a direct commendation! 👍 And the door lock also gave us girls a great sense of security. It's different from typical hotel locks; usually, it's those sliding chain locks, but this one was just different in a good way. The screen mirroring worked flawlessly, and there's a full-length mirror and a small sofa – perfect for any girl who wants to take some nice photos! There's also a small bar counter and a mini-fridge ٩(๑^o^๑)۶, which is really nice. Plus, the pedestrian street and a snack street are right next door, and the distance is well-managed so it's not noisy at all. All in all, it's fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! No wonder I saw some foreign handsome guys checking in when we arrived 🤓. To put it bluntly and without beating around the bush, they should seriously open a branch in Changsha! Foreign tourists and out-of-town guests are all welcome! The hotel owner is also amazing. The entire hotel smells wonderful, with a delicate and pleasant aroma that's so different from the harsh, chemical smells you get in regular hotels – it's really soothing. The front desk service was excellent too, always with a smile, and the customer service staff were great at solving problems too! 😼ฅ(̳•◡•̳)ฅ Most importantly, my best friend and I bought miniature surveillance detectors, and we tested our rooms separately twice and found absolutely no issues! Girls, you can definitely go for this one! And you don't even need to pay a deposit! The shower gel and shampoo also have a faint, pleasant scent. Plus, takeout is delivered by a robot! The disposable toothbrushes are high quality, and the toothpaste also smells good, not that harsh minty kind. The owner is really thoughtful, especially when my best friend and I came back from outside on the second night and found a small bag of snacks hanging on our door – what a surprise! There was yogurt, small cookies, etc. And the room cleaning was very thorough; the blankets were neatly spread out, and they even folded our clothes, which made us laugh out loud hahaha! Seeing that we weren't drinking water, they even left several extra bottles of JingTian mineral water – so considerate! ⊙ω⊙ This is the first time I've written such a long review, and I promise I'm not an advertisement. If I were, I'd eat my words! If there are more guests, maybe they can give me a subsidy! 😄

The service was excellent. The butler called in advance to ask about our arrival time, sent us directions, and even brought snacks to our room. They also helped deliver our laundry back to the room. The room itself was decorated in refreshing colors, and the shower, toilet, and sink were all separate, which was great for two people. The location is super convenient, with a pedestrian street and snack street nearby, and it's only a 5-6 minute walk to Metro Line 2. You can also walk to attractions like Lihuangpi Road and Pinghefang. Plus, taxis are affordable; it was under 20 yuan to get to Wuhan University and Yellow Crane Tower. I highly recommend staying here; it's convenient for dining, accommodation, and sightseeing, and it has a great local vibe!

This hotel truly offers exceptional and thoughtful service, with great attention to detail. Upon checking in, a staff member immediately offered me a glass of water, which was incredibly welcome after a long journey from the airport/train station. Another small detail that deserves praise is at the water bar: alongside the standard hotel mugs, they also provide four disposable cups. This is brilliant because guests won't hesitate to drink hot water due to hygiene concerns about reusable cups – at least, I certainly wouldn't. While it's not a star-rated hotel, the entire experience feels like five-star service. The room layout is also very comfortable, with a well-designed functional area. Definitely worth recommending!

My stay here exceeded expectations! The front desk staff was so warm and attentive, and check-in was a breeze. The room was spotless, and the bedding was clean, comfortable, and just the right firmness – I slept wonderfully. The soundproofing was good too; I slept straight through till morning. The hot dry noodles across the street were delicious! I'll definitely choose this place again for my next business trip, it's great value for money!

The rooms are clean and tidy, the facilities are new, and the service attitude is friendly. Our overall stay exceeded expectations, making it a great choice for friends traveling together. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Wuhan. The cleaning staff were also wonderful; they even gave us shoe shine cloths and eye masks.
