Stayed here for a night to cover Chaka Lake next day. Most people take a hotel in Chaka Village for the same purpose. Nothing special about the hotel. Smooth checkin, facilities are decent for overnight stay at such a remote area of China. Breakfast is mostly Chinese food but they do have bread slices, jam and coffee. Toaster was not working on that day, however, manager was kind enough to get it toasted. For some reason, they provide plastic cups in the rooms rather than a proper coffee or tea cup.

This is a nice hotel very close to Chaka. The service was very helpful. The room was clean and had all we needed. The beds were soft. And the breakfast had good salmon and coffee.

Good location close to the lake for an early start. The manager was very nice and spoke some English. Nice breakfast, especially the salmon sashimi. And they had decent coffee!

Overall a great stay! It is a little lacking in terms of cleanliness as the room toilet and bathroom has a weird smell when we entered. Other than that, the room cleanliness is good!

Bathroom is too small and overall hotel cleanliness needs attention. The food of breakfast lots of variety but need attention to make sure the cleanliness of the utensils and food arrangements.

Environment: The rooms are well-planned and immaculately clean. We were traveling with our elderly family and children and booked a suite with two bathrooms and a small living room, which allowed us to stay comfortable without disturbing each other. Service: When we returned to the hotel after our trip that day, it was almost 11:00 AM when we checked in. The front desk even prepared a warm midnight snack for us. A bowl of piping hot Tremella soup in the room was truly delightful. The pre-prepared snacks, such as peanuts, fruit leather, and raisins, were also delicious. The service was attentive and the attention to detail was excellent. 💯

We booked a room with heating and oxygen, but when we got there, there was no oxygen dispenser. I called the front desk, but they questioned it. After several calls, they finally delivered an oxygen dispenser. (The staff member said it only works for 2-3 hours and then needs to be refilled with water.) There was no heater in the room, and no standard toiletries were provided. My daughter noticed a thin bamboo stick, about 2cm long, when she sat on the bed. There was a lot of dust on the headboard, and even more trash under the bed. The hotel said they provided midnight snacks, but they didn't. (The next day, they told me they wouldn't provide them because we were out that night.) The next day, I called Ctrip to report the issue, and the hotel insisted that the heater was available, but they asked for proof. When I sent them photos of the room, they refuted the claim, saying the heater was seasonal. (They didn't specify the months, but Chaka Town was very cold the night we checked in.) This was the most expensive hotel on the Qinghai-Gansu route, and the one with the worst stay.
