This is a newly opened hotel, everything is new, the furnishings and appliances are all new, it is clean and hygienic, and disposable bath towels are provided; the vegetarian cold dishes for breakfast are delicious; although the hotel is in Pu'an Temple Village, the hotel has a special car to pick you up and drop you off at any time, including the 24-hour bus stop, so you can go to any tourist attraction at will, and there is no traffic jam at all. We checked in on April 30 and checked out on May 2, catching the birthday of Manjushri Bodhisattva, and we visited Shuxiang Temple, Wuye Temple, Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple, Dailuoding, Mingyuechi, and several other places we wanted to visit. It was a happy trip!

Originally set up the next homestay, after this house, I went in and looked at it. I decisively changed the room to his house. I can see that the operation is very careful. The newly opened Qingshan Yunshe B&B in Wutai Mountain has a great environment. Parking is convenient. It is also convenient to supermarkets and restaurants around Caodi Village. AAnonymous UserYou cannot use simple ”satisfaction” or ”dissatisfaction” to evaluate such a thoughtful B&B. Nanman Nanman is a small but beautiful, quiet and gentle hotel.
We are always attentive and considerate of our guests. You will be pleasantly surprised that when you wake up early in the depths of this mountain, you will have a cup of coffee that is no less than a professional coffee shop in the city. The breakfast is simple and exquisite, and you can eat local specialties.
Every decoration and detail in the hotel, from the furnishings to the hand sanitizer in the guest rooms, all demonstrate the manager's excellent taste and pursuit of quality.
Stayed for 2 consecutive days and had three meals a day. The dishes at each meal amazed my friends in the same group. They were simple, local, exquisite and delicious!
The service staff are professional and attentive. They can talk about the culture and history here, but also keep a just right distance from you, making you comfortable and stress-free.

GGuest UserThank you to the young owners and their parents for their hospitality during our short stay - for transporting my parents and I to and from restaurants for our meals and dropping us off at the main tourist attraction. Also special thanks to the 阿姨 for the delicious breakfast, her homemade mantou and pickles. Mrs Han was so generous in also helping us heat up leftovers takeaway from lunch for our dinner. The beds were comfortable. Initially the room was too warm but the young Mr Han helped to sort out the floor heating and heater so that the room was more comfortable. The recommended driver, Mr An, was very good, who brought us safely to Pingan.

The most satisfying trip to Wutai! This time I came to live here because I didn't decide to go to Marriott and Friendship Hotel and picked a homestay that looked okay. I didn't expect it to completely exceed expectations!
Especially clean, all kinds of small facilities are very intimate, the most important thing is that the boss is really good, our group of four people are actually very picky, but they are full of praise for the boss, always smiling, any reasonable needs can communicate with the boss, I even asked the boss which dish is delicious. He didn't have any impatient (don't read this evaluation and raise the demand randomly hahaha), and I feel like returning home after a tired day.
Seeing other evaluations, I think it is a little biased, I don’t think it is, it’s very quiet, I usually go to the core area after breakfast, lunch and dinner are generally returned after eating, I don’t feel any inconvenience, and the traffic is very convenient. We all chose to take the bus one day when we drove by ourselves. The boss got up at six o'clock and sent us a foot of the accelerator to the bus stop (just a minute, he was not very embarrassed tossing). Sitting at the end of the bed in the morning was too fierce and damaged a little bed beam. I am willing to pay. The boss didn't care about me. If this is an unscrupulous merchant, the price will be charged. When I left today, no one stayed in the boss and allowed us to leave a little later. It was great. The expensive homestay in the suburbs of Beijing forced check-out at 12 o'clock regardless of whether there was anyone behind. This boss is really the greatest convenience within a reasonable range.

MM329672****It was my first time to visit Mount Wutai to worship Buddha. It happened to be during the Chinese New Year and there were quite a few people there.
The hotel is located in a very convenient area, and most importantly, it is easy to park. The sister at the front desk was very considerate and explained to us the precautions for worshiping Buddha.
The room is very stylishly decorated, with an elegant environment and exquisite decoration! The room was spacious and bright, and the bed was super comfortable.
The room attendant was warm and generous, and greeted us proactively, fearing that he would neglect us.
In short, it is an ideal place to stay for travel 👍🏻

GGuest UserFirst of all, this hotel is very good. The reception was warm and they arranged a quiet and clean room for us. However, a very unpleasant thing happened after leaving the hotel. I asked the hotel to help find a carpool to Datong, but the carpool driver Ren Jianjun also wanted to go to Datong. We changed cars at the north gate of Wutaishan on the way. When changing cars, we accidentally lost our wallet on the passenger seat of the original car. As a result, Master Ren misrepresented the value of our valuable personal belongings by RMB 10,000+ and refused to admit the illegal misappropriation. As a result, the police were called There is no driving recorder installed in the car at all. You still have to use formal platforms for carpooling, and you can’t trust the locals for everything.

GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

HHanqing～yanIt feels so good to live halfway up the mountain. You can overlook the panoramic view. You can also watch the night view directly from the small terrace. The hot water is very good. SSolo Traveler BainIt was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. They provided anything I needed including heater, laundry service, help with the taxi booking and so many other things.
They even allowed me to stay the lobby to work on my project on my laptop when I had to check out and there were no places to work.
Location is nice, right next to restaurants and not far from main temples.
If you need help with climbing up all five peaks or just book a bus ticket, they will happily assist you.
Also, if you don’t speak Chinese, it’s fine as long as you use a translator. It might be a small challenge but overall communication was possible.
For a solo traveler, this was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!
