Wuwei Dayin Courtyard (in the Tiantishan Grand Scenic Area)

I couldn't be happier to stay at this B&B! Its very existence was the biggest surprise of our trip! The quality of the decor, the exterior, the service, the cleanliness of the rooms, the exquisiteness of the dishes...everything was absolutely amazing! It couldn't be better! Thank you for providing such a tranquil haven for travelers along the Hexi Corridor!

Figure 1: My first night's review. I love seclusion, so I wrote a bunch. I thought the owner was just a sentimental person, but he turned out to be a bit of an arty youngster. He left a long reply, so adorable I didn't even dare write about the second night, hahaha. I had originally planned to visit Binggou River, but on my first night, while chatting in the hotel lobby, two people who had just finished their trip said it was more beautiful to walk the 20-plus kilometers to Tianchi Lake, otherwise it wouldn't be necessary. I decisively gave up and opted to charter a car to explore the less-visited section of Qilian Mountain National Park (which the owner mentioned is almost impossible to find on navigation) that includes Dahonggou, Tianzhu, and Wushaoling. It's a less crowded, scenic route, with stops and starts, a spontaneous and wonderfully surprising experience. During the botanical study tour, I learned about oats, highland barley, and both old and new barley varieties. During the zoological study tour, I encountered marmots (the owner even explained the deadly bacteria they carry), white yaks, and ******* sheep. At Dachaigou in Tianzhu, I feasted on white yak meat and drank plenty of brown sugar ginger tea. Then, warmed up, I braved the rain and fog to explore Wushaoling. My only complaint is that we were wearing down jackets, while the owner, dressed in a black short-sleeved shirt, was a real downer. I captured some real moments along the way. My child ate white yak beef and wanted to save the bones to make dominoes back home. The owner took the initiative to cut and roughly prepare it that evening. He's a real playful person, haha. That night, the inn had grilled lamb and Qilian Mountain snow water ginseng fruit. It was absolutely delicious. It's a real shame that we only stayed two nights. Dayin is a great place to stop, lie down, and do whatever you want. Here's a thought: see you later.

It was a surprisingly good B&B. A young couple managed it in a very bourgeois style. It is very close to the scenic area. Walking around the B&B is very photogenic. The hot pot we had for dinner at the B&B was delicious.

The courtyard was clean, and the bed was comfortable—a bed is one of the most important things I consider when evaluating a hotel. The room was also clean. It's cold in the mountains, but the room had an electric heater, which kept it quite cozy. We checked in at night, and it was pitch dark, so we couldn't see much. But when we woke up in the morning, we were greeted by rolling mountains and the reservoir, creating a truly breathtaking experience. The owner was very welcoming, and the chef was incredible; his dishes evoke the essence of the mountain. If you find the rooms here a bit different from those in the city, the chef's cooking will definitely make the trip worthwhile. Finally, the owner recommended a route to Lanzhou, which had stunning scenery.

This B&B is truly worth checking out. "Feeling at home" has always been a common saying for me, but in this small courtyard, I truly understood and experienced its meaning for the first time. All the hosts in the courtyard were incredibly warm and welcoming. On my first night there, after 9 PM and no food, the owner grilled Northwest-style lamb skewers. Tourists from all over the country sat chatting in the courtyard, and the smoke from cooking fires echoed through the streets. Without the hustle and bustle of the city, it felt incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The lamb skewers were incredibly delicious. From the ingredients to the flavor, it's like nothing you'll find anywhere else. I'm still savoring them. The stir-fried dishes I had for lunch the next day were also delicious. The uncle and aunt in the store should be the boss's parents. They are very nice. Seeing that we didn't drive here, they personally took us to the Tianti Scenic Area. The uncle even waited for our call and went out for a drink after picking us up and returning to the accommodation. He was so drunk that I didn't see him all afternoon, hahaha, I was so happy... The boss is a military man with a soldier's heroism and the enthusiasm of the people of the Northwest. The scenery outside the courtyard is also very beautiful. There is a grassland and a lake to the right when you leave the courtyard. Many cows 🐮 are leisurely eating grass. In the evening, the sunset is really beautiful like a painting. At night, I saw a starry sky outside the courtyard that I had only seen as a child. The scenery outside the Great Wall is infinitely beautiful... The scenery cannot be reproduced by a mobile phone. On the way back, the young man in charge of the front desk was very considerate. He was afraid that we would be charged a high fee for renting a car, so he personally went to negotiate and planned a route with the driver. I was really touched and grateful. It was really worth the trip. Even if you don't go to the scenic spots, it is well worth coming to the B&B to relax and unwind. I will definitely recommend it to friends who need to visit the Northwest.

Quiet and comfortable, with a handsome guy who's super nice! Living here really feels like a retreat. Take a walk around the area, the environment is beautiful, and you can set off early in the morning! His food is also delicious,
