Holiday Inn Express WUXI TAIHU by IHG

A very clean and cozy hotel. The room was spacious and had a great view from the upper floor. The staff were super nice and thoughtful, quick to respond to all requests. Last but not least, their souvenir gifts are worth taking home!

I visited Wuxi during the National Day holiday and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Taihu on the first day. The location is excellent, right outside the Sports Center subway station, and next to Wuxi MixC, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also easy to take the subway to attractions like Huishan Old Town. The hotel's price was very reasonable, and they didn't significantly raise rates for the long National Day holiday. Plus, the room had a bathtub, and the breakfast selection was quite good, with coffee even being a collaboration with Luckin Coffee. Highly recommend!

They upgraded me to a suite for free, which must have been over 60 square meters. The room was large and very comfortable, clean, and the service was warm and friendly. Vientiane City (Wanxianghui) is nearby, making shopping and dining very convenient.

This was my first time staying at an Intercontinental property, and the front desk attendant was so kind and upgraded us to a suite. My mom was very happy with it too. It's super convenient for taxis and the subway, right next to a mall, and close to Lihu Light. Most importantly, it was very quiet, so we slept wonderfully. Being able to check out at 2 PM was a really thoughtful touch. All the staff were incredibly warm and friendly, definitely a big thumbs up!

The suite was quite spacious, and the overall environment was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The only minor drawback was that the hotel reception isn't on the ground floor lobby; you have to go up to find it, and it's easy to confuse with the Crowne Plaza next door.

I stayed in Wuxi for one night to catch an early morning flight. Getting to the hotel by metro after arriving on the high-speed train was super convenient. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the airport, and I booked the early morning airport drop-off service via Ctrip—it was smooth and reliable. There's also a MixC shopping mall right next to the hotel, which is great for a quick stroll.

This hotel was our choice for a family trip to Wuxi. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast selection was extensive. We stayed for 5 days and even received complimentary breakfast vouchers. The room was cleaned daily, and the sheets and duvet covers were changed mid-stay. It was a fantastic travel experience!

The subway station is just outside MixC, making it very convenient for getting around. They were also accommodating when I requested extra towels and bottled water for the room.
