Fantastic hotel. This hotel is right by Lake Tai. It has full five-star service and facilities and a great breakfast buffet spread. There’s a well attended garden within the hotel, and is walking distance to popular destinations. Room is very clean and very quiet. Very warm too despite cold spring weather. 10/10 will recommend and come again. My family loved every bit of it.

This grand hotel is set in an idyllic setting. We loved the environment and enjoyed walking on its grounds. The buffet breakfast has a great variety of food and it's fresh and delicious. This is a hotel to relax in, ideal for a real getaway.

Fantastic hotel, extremely clean and comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the front desk, and when leaving they extended our check-out time. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everybody!

Beautiful resort hotle. Meticulously cared garden coveres 70% of the hotel ground. Excllent location. walking distance to "Mei Yuan" park and pedestrain path @ the wetland by the lake. Trees, flowers, forgs, toads, ducks and birds. it's a symphony of nature. Both morning buffet and formal Chinese restaurant are very good. Full of seasonal ingredients, local delicacies. delicious. We ate all our meals in the hotel during our stay. Definetely will come back for vacation next time.

Lovely hotel! Very clean and beautiful environment. Breakfast is fantastic, but in the busy season, you should arrive as early as possible for breakfast otherwise you may have a long wait to get in.

I took my mother on a spring outing, and I was really satisfied with the hotel I finally chose. 🏡The Taihu Hotel, a well-established state guesthouse that has hosted many domestic and foreign dignitaries and celebrities, is located on the shore of Taihu Lake in Wuxi. The overall design incorporates elements of Jiangnan gardens, with a quiet courtyard and shaded trees. It is very suitable for taking the elderly on vacation ⛱ I upgraded to a deluxe lake view balcony room, the view is so good, and it is so comfortable to look at the scenery and drink tea on the balcony. I would like to mention the breakfast, which is very rich. The garden concierge car provided by the hotel is very interesting to listen to the explanation. The front desk check-in was not very smiling, but the lady in a black suit was much more professional and enthusiastic later.

The facilities in the room are pretty good, and there is also a cloakroom. Although the floor is not high, the overall view is good when you open the window. The lush forest outside the window makes people feel comfortable, and you can go downstairs to ride a bike to explore. There is a place to camp behind the hotel. Although I didn't camp this time, it was very refreshing to sit on the lawn and watch. The only disadvantage is that there is no subway nearby, which is not very convenient for travel. Attractions such as Yuantouzhu and Liyuan are relatively far away. For travel, it is still recommended to use the Lakeside Hotel for convenience.

Taihu Hotel is said to be the former state guesthouse. I really came to the right place. It has a super large garden with mountains, water and bamboo forest. The environment is comfortable with birds singing and flowers blooming during the day and very quiet at night. It happened to be my birthday and the hotel was very considerate to upgrade the room and provide a lot of services. I was really surprised and grateful. The management is very humane and the five-star service is very attentive. I didn’t enjoy the swimming pool this time. I didn’t have time. I must spend two more nights swimming next time.

I stayed at Taihu Hotel many years ago. Recently, Ctrip had a promotion and ordered a package with a discounted price. It felt good to revisit the old place. The hotel facilities are well maintained. The old state guesthouse exudes atmosphere everywhere. The courtyard is deep and shaded by bamboo forests, and the open lawn is very impressive. We were upgraded to a room of more than 50 square meters in the main building for free. We called one day in advance and the waiter was polite. There are 8 bottles of mineral water in the room, and the first round of mini bar is free. The breakfast is particularly rich, with Wuxi specialty steamed buns, tofu pudding, and Suzhou noodles. The Western pastries include pistachio croissants, cinnamon rolls, fruit pies, and egg tarts. There are also uncommon ingredients such as smoked salmon. 108 yuan is not worse than two or three hundred. I spent three very pleasant and relaxing days. I look forward to seeing you next time during the cherry blossom season!

It was my first time staying at Taihu Hotel. The experience was very good. The layout of the hotel room was reasonable. The mattress was very comfortable. There was sufficient mineral water every day. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the swimming pool were spacious and bright. The water quality of the swimming pool was also clean. The hardware facilities of the table tennis room and the billiard room were very good. The hotel's AI fitness trail had a beautiful environment and fresh air. The breakfast was rich in variety. The dishes in the Chinese restaurant were also very distinctive. For the elderly who had difficulty traveling, the hotel provided wheelchair services, which was very considerate. Areas that need improvement are: First, the bathroom seal was not good. Water leaked from the ground when showering, which was very unsafe, especially for the elderly. It was easy to fall. Second, the fruit sampled from the bottom of the container for lemonade for breakfast was moldy and deteriorated. It was not replaced in time. Food hygiene needs to be strengthened. The flaws do not outweigh the merits. I hope the hotel will gradually improve in the inadequate areas and get better and better.
