Wuyishan Yinglun Time Senhuo Homestay

This review is for another room type that we booked, but the comments made for the other room type are copied n pasted here ☺️ Most likely it's the only homestay inside the national park. The wuyi palace tourist bus station is just a stone throw away n the bamboo rafting destination pier is right in front of it. The boss is super friendly, he came brought us to the homestay when we first arrived at the wuyi palace station with didi. He gave tips on where n how to go in the park n where to dine with discount for the homestay guests (apart from the nice homestay breakfasts, we had all our meals there but avoid the steamed egg with red mushroom 😅). He's also a professional photographer, lots of his beautiful photos of the park are displayed around the homestay. He could get cheaper ticket for the wuyishan impression performance but we didn't go for the show because of exhaustive long distance hiking on the first day.. Tip - the breakfast is served at 8am so it would be after bamboo rafting if u are going for the 1st batch of the rafting at 730am (during our time of visit)

The British Time Hotel was absolutely perfect for our Wuyishan getaway. Nestled among the trees in the scenic area, it was equally great for relaxing and drinking tea, or exploring all the sites nearby. Mr Qiu was an excellent host who went out of his way to look after us with recommendations of places to visit and as much delicious tea as we could drink! The room was very comfortable, but we especially loved the balcony area. We will definitely stay here again!

The owner and his staff were really friendly. He also provided assistance, information and tips for the scenic attractions. His photography work is displayed in his home stay and also on the tv of the complementary Wuyishan bus service. It’s in a natural surrounding so expect one or two insects to come by. Breakfast is simple — I (and a passing wasp) love the tea eggs so much I bought extra for lunch and dinner. They sell Dahongpao ice cream too and it’s cheaper for guests compared to the ones outside. He also sells tea leaves. And I bought some because the taste of the samplers were good. The only gripe I have is with the shower — water pressure is not good but that’s not the location’s fault. It took a while for me to finally turn the knob to the magic spot where water temperature is just right — not too cold and not too hot. But hey, I’m paying to stay smack in the middle of the scenic area.

The hotel is well situated, just in the entrance of the park. You can see the bamboo boat from the hotel. I had a good breakfast with sound of nature. I did received good advice and help during my stay.

The owner was very friendly, helpful and thoughtful, making the entire stay comfortable and delightful. He tried to contact me multiple times on my mobile (as he could not reach me on my Singapore number which I had switched off) on the day of check in, to ensure I was able to find the location of the homestay efficiently. He gave good advice on hearing we had booked the bamboo rafting plan the next morning, which was great as it helped us get a little more sleep 😆. Location is right along Song Street which has various food and drinks options. It’s also right next to the disembarking area for the bamboo raft (on the return journey). We booked the Tatami room which had a great vibe and faces the river. Room is very clean and well-maintained.

The hotel is located in the scenic spot.It is very beautiful.You can easily access scenic spots busses.The location is too beautiful.Boss is very helpful and attentive.Breakfast is nice.

One of the best places I’ve stayed in all my travels. The host is awesome and is always helping us out. The location on Song Street in the district is superb. When all the day tourists go, we had the village to ourselves. Hugely peaceful. Thank you for making our stay at Mt Wuyi 10/10!

Small scale family style hotel with an owner the truly cares. Best service you could wish for. From offering his complementary tea to movie/tea room. You are in the park and after the tourist busses left you are alone in the charming environment. This place I would highly recommend!
