The boss was very enthusiastic. It was his first time visiting Wuyi Mountain and he provided travel guides. He also enthusiastically answered questions about tea. It is only a ten-minute walk from the scenic spot. The environment is very good. As soon as you enter the lobby, you feel very warm and comfortable. There are elevators up and down the stairs, which is very convenient. They also thoughtfully prepare snacks. The room is well-equipped and has a bathtub. We lived on the top floor and there was a terrace. The outdoor scenery was pleasant in the morning, and it also had a unique feel when the lights were on after dark. All in all, I feel very good. I will come again next time~

Staying in this hotel made our visit to the World Heritage Site of Wuyishan so much more fulfilling.
1. The room was very clean, well-designed and well-equipped. There was an array of snacks, fruits and Dahongpao tea. A hearty breakfast was also provided.
2. The service was impeccable. The pleasant, young and energetic household manager provided service as guests have a personal butler.
3. From the roof top, guests get a panoramic view of the Wuyishan mountains.
4. The must-watch Impression Dahongpao is just a short walk away. This hotel is ideally located for visitors who come to Wuyishan to see the show. (In my humble opinion, it would be such a great waste if one visits Wuyishan without watching Impression Dahongpao.) The hotel management team got us the best seats available for the section we selected and at a better price than those offered online.
5. The bus stop where we took the bus to the entrance of the Wuyishan Scenic Area is within walking distance. If one prefers to hail a ride (Didi) there, it costs about 6 yuan. In the opposite direction from the hotel, the tea streets are about the same distance away. If one does not want to go to town to eat, there are also a variety of restaurants and food stalls in the vicinity of Impression Dahongpao.
6. We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and we think we did well in our planning. We wanted to experience the scenic tram ride from Nanping High Speed Rail Station to Wuyishan and by the time we arrived at the hotel, it was in the afternoon. We went up the rooftop to appreciate the view and prep ourselves for the visit to the huge park. Early the next morning, we went to the park after breakfast. We wanted to do the bamboo rafting and visit the 6 ancient Dahongpao trees/shrubs on the first day. Viewing the trees made it more meaningful when we watched Impression Dahongpao on the second evening. On the third day we climbed up to the peak of Wuyishan. Without the pressure of time, the climb was done more safely. The views along the path up and from the top were spectacular. In the late afternoon/evening, we visited the town and walked the tea streets.
7. We got a pleasant gift upon check-out on the fourth day.

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnja 安雅Lovely resort very out in the green, whilst close to Wuyigong palace, all peaks (Tianyoufeng, Dawangfeng, Shuilian Cave) as well as Duiia Qu for food. You can basically walk everywhere if you have enough time. The room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, there is also a small travel agency that can take you for tea tasting and seeing how they grow and produce tea in Wuyishan. Breakfast was good, rather Chinese though. Receptionists were lovely and helpful, as well as room service. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

NNathan JJThis hotel is easily one of the best I have ever stayed at.
The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing.
There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too.
Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.

AAnonymous UserThe reason why I was so happy during this trip to Wuyi Mountain was that I chose the right hotel - Wuyishan Shanshuizhuang Holiday Inn! I must praise it.
As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the elegant and majestic Chinese-style architecture came into view, which perfectly blended with the surrounding mountains and waters, like a natural painting. When checking in, the staff was warm and thoughtful. Not only did they quickly complete the formalities, but they also carefully introduced the travel guide, which made them feel very good!
The room was impeccable, spacious and bright, clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and a good night's sleep. When I opened the window, I could see the beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers, and the fresh air hit me, and my fatigue disappeared instantly.
The hotel's catering is also worthy of praise. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the local special snacks are all available. For dinner, I tasted authentic Fujian cuisine, the ingredients were fresh, the cooking was tasty, and every bite was a pleasure.
In addition, the hotel is in a great location, and it is very convenient to go to various attractions. There are also many specialty shops and food streets around, so you don't have to worry about eating.
Shanshuizhuang Holiday Inn has achieved the ultimate in service, environment and facilities. Next time I come to Wuyi Mountain, I will stay here again!

GGuest UserReally nice hotel. Vert authentic feeling. Walking distance to the Wuyi Palace, from which you can catch the bus to other sites in the national park there. The only annoying thing was upon coming back to the hotel we found the outside door to the courtyard locked. It wasn't even that late, just around 11 o'clock or so. We had to call them to come open the door to let us in. Other than that, great spot and I'd definitely stay here again.

The most important thing is the pick-up service, which saved us a lot of trouble. It was very considerate and warm. The driver also waited for us at the high-speed rail station early. Thank you very much! Xiao Chen at the front desk also helped us a lot. When he saw that we had children, he even gave us an extra breakfast. MMaja VA great place! The owner is very kind and helpful, the room is clean and has a nice terrace to enjoy, when the weather is not too hot. The food is also amazing. When we arrived we first ate lunch and had this bamboo broth that was delicious. Also the way the welcome children is very heartwarming. They had a lot of toys they shared with our two boys and it was great when we came back in the evening and we wanted to relax a bit, the boys could play there. One evening the owner daughters had a birthday and they even shared the cake with them. Really so toughtful and nice!
We chose this hotel also for it's location. Because we arrived in the afternoon, we still wanted to check some attractions and it was really perfect that the hotel is within and walking distance to bamboo rafting. When we were there the last ride was scheduled for 15:40, so we managed to have lunch and still came on time for the raft ride.
Definitely a very good place to stay if you are in Wuyishan area.
