Went in February for my husbands 70th birthday and had a fabulous meal with brilliant service. Will definitely love to come again. Nothing was too much trouble and there was so much on the menu to choose from. Thank you for making this an excellent celebration.

Wow! Where to start? From initial welcome on arrival by George, a good old fashioned 'let me show you to your room', to the attention to detail with the facilities in the room (being offered fresh milk for tea/coffee for example) and then to the simple but varied dinner menu providing some of the best 'pub' food that I have had in many years. The whole ambiance of the place feels very unlike any pub that I have stayed in - nothing seemed too much trouble, but all provided with humour and a sincerity that is sadly missing from even most high end establishments. A shame that we could only stay one night ..... but we will certainly be back! This is not 'just a pub' ..... but an Inn where the staff go out of their way to make you welcome and ensure that you remember you're stay for all the right reasons! It isn't exactly inexpensive to stay here ......... but worth every single penny!

No hesitation about 5 stars. An excellent experience and good value for money. Wye (in Kent) is a lovely place (make sure you visit the church!) As to the room, many excellencies; bed, pillows, and numerous little details all perfect. The details showed real care and attention. For example, when we checked in, we were asked if we would like fresh milk in the room; when we said yes, we were given a small metal bottle of milk in its own little ice bucket. That was unique in my experience of hotels. The inn is very old, so the doors are a little lower than six feet high - but forewarned (which we were when shown to the room) is forearmed. The only suggestion I would make is: install an extendable shaving mirror in the otherwise excellent and very modern bathroom.

Overnight stay on our way back home from France. Chosen due to proximity to the tunnel. Will definitely stay again. Comfy rooms and a cosy pub. Friendly service and very welcoming to our two dogs. They even managed to squeeze us in for Sunday roast at late notice. Food was excellent.

We often visit Wye and this is the 2nd time we have stayed at The New Flying Horse and its safe to say, it was just as good as the first time. Rooms are really comfy and tastefully furnished. The ensuite bathrooms are really spacious and just like the rooms, spotlessly clean. This was the first time we had stayed during the summer months and having completed a lovely walk, it was just fantastic to sit in the pub garden while sinking a few pints. We ate out in the evening but really wished we hadn't. We have eaten in the pub restaurant before and on reflection wished we had chosen to eat there again as the food before was gorgeous. Breakfast was great, there's a good selection and it set us up for the journey home. I know we will return again soon as this is a great pub in a really lovely village.

I didn't have an evening meal here but I did stay overnight and had breakfast. My room in the stable block was clean, very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom is large and very clean, and the facilities are all modern. My breakfast was delicious, well prepared with local ingredients and the quality was obvious. The staff were friendly and conscientious throughout my stay. There was a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accomodation in the area.

I was recently working in the area so stayed here for two nights. My room was quite small but cosy and had everything I needed. The breakfast was really delicious and set me up perfectly for the day, there was also a lot of tasty choices for breakfast. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed my stay.

Firstly it’s a building site which was not mentioned when booking. Covered in scaffolding and with an unpleasant full skip by rooms and garden. Booked stable block room which was only just big enough for the double bed. Decor fine and nice bathroom. The room was dark with one small window.it is right on the access drive so all entering and leaving go right past the door. Big garden area but uninspiring, old benches, no lovely flower beds, lots of grass, Arrived Sunday afternoon to find no food after 4.30 so forced to go out to eat. Won’t be coming back.
