Super 8 by Wyndham Wytheville

The staff was so good to me. For a small older place it was excellent. Nice little breakfast area. Really, really safe for a solo female like me. You cannot beat the price. My room could have been a little cleaner but overall it was a great stay and I plan to return on my way back.

It’s convenient hotel on the road 81, the staff is very friendly

The room was not clean when we checked it. It had dog hair all over the floor. Dust could be found on the fixtures. The bedding had cigarette burns on it.

WARNING: strongly recommend do not stay here. We made a reservation through *******. Got to the hotel and the desk person Lorie said my ID did not match. She said their policy is it has to match exactly (every letter, name, etc). Long story short she would not accept it and reiterated their policy. I had no issue with the policy but wanted to point out they did actually match. This was upsetting to her, she said I would not be staying there, and told me to leave. I said I needed to cancel and get a refund on a prepaid reservation. She said not helping me at all and walked off. My husband came in to de-escalate and she was disrespectful and rude to him too, but finally agreed to cancel and refund, when contacted by *******. Contacted ******* and Josephine was very helpful and contacted the hotel. Josephine said Lorie was very rude. Fortunately we cancelled and got a full refund and stayed at a nicer place down the road. I would not stay here and would not recommend at all.

Air conditioner in room was not effective / didn't blow cold. Gaps along frame of door that allowed a lot of hot air in. Bed side tables were dirty. Chair in room was badly soiled on the cushion. Ended up leaving and going to another hotel because it was so bad.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and I slept well. Check in and out was easy and quick. I enjoyed my complimentary breakfast and will return to Days Inn on my next road trip east. Thank you

The property is old, but rooms were clean. We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the bed! Breakfast was adequate and coffee was good. Overall, a nice experience for the price.

This felt like checking into and staying at a Marriott. Everything about it was top shelf. Staff very helpful.
