"A little Spanish gem!!! It’s like an upmarket motel outside of town, only 10 minute drive into Javea. Great size room with private terrace and huge bed which was really comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom quite small but functional and nice pool with lots of sun beds and loungers!!!"

"Very centrally located in central Javea. Only five rooms and a pulsating lively bar very popular with locals and foreigners. Rooms are well designed with art deco curios. Well furnished and spotlessly clean. All mod cons. George and Emilia are the two very efficient and friendly bar staff running the bar... George's creative cocktails are a knockout. Shy is the owner; hardworking, available 24/7, and knows all the locals well. Breakfast available at the market opposite : wide range of items. Property has an elevator (lift). Great value for the place. As it's on a side street, you have a low noise level, generally."

"I have stayed twice at SH Javea, in June and August. I had a lovely stay on both occasions and cannot wait to return! The staff are very friendly, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is plentiful and the pool area is very relaxing. My father joined me in August for a couple of days as we know Javea well and he also had an excellent experience. I cannot thank the hotel enough for my holiday and I look forward to returning soon."

"In the first meal and the following ones I could see that the food was terrible, there was no alternative for people who eat a soft diet. At all lunches and dinners there was a lot of frying, batters and sauces on meats and fish. I caught gastroenteritis and when I went to the hotel doctor there were many other people with this problem, and we couldn't tell if it was caused by the food. The fact is that, two days later, in the self-service dining room there was no alternative to a boiled vegetable and a grilled fish or meat, only fried food, so I spent three days eating yogurt. They do not eat a balanced diet taking into account that the majority of people are quite old Bad, very bad, terrible"
