We booked the shuimo suite room which is at the 4th floor. The stay was merely because we wanted to visit the local southern gate morning market which was located just 20 metres away.
initially I was a bit regret as I just came back from Mount Hua, climbing 4 storeys added on to my fatique. But after seeing the room, wow!! It's more beautiful than many 5-star hotels. We have the entire 4th floor to ourselves, 2 bedrooms and a opened-air courtyard on top of the building. Powerful air-condition, spacious bathroom, big bath-tub, mobile TV, electric tea-drinking table. Though there is no nice scenery to see from the courtyard, the typical chinese decorations and the chill moonlight gave a totally different kind of experience. I should have book the room for a few more nights. There's an entrance for the Ancient City Wall right in front of the premise, which was another bonus I found.
Housekeeper was very helpful and caring. She patiently explained every amenity in the room, sent video explanation on how to use the smart-showering system, and entrance locking system. Even sent reminder to us at night in case we got lock out.
Some negative points about the premise, location is slightly far from the nearest metro station (about 1km walk). The homestay is hiding in a secluded corner with only a very small signage hanging outside which could be easily missed. Fortunately the location marked on Alimap is precise, else I could have missed it. The executive suite is really wonderful, but not if you have big and heavy baggage. 4 storeys, no lift, no joke.
