Extremely satisfied, it exceeded my expectations. They offered fruits and snacks all day, plus a complimentary drink and coffee. The experience was excellent. It was great just relaxing in the lounge area at the front desk, listening to the nice music. The location is also very convenient, quiet yet close to everything.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! This is probably the most luxurious hostel we have ever visited and we loved every part of it. Rooms are classy, clean and silent. Breakfast is a varied mix of Western and Eastern standards. Staff is super helpful and proficient in English. After our flight got cancelled, we immediately booked an extra night and we were genuinely happy to stay one more night!

A nice hotel within the city wall, nearby the Muslim quarter and the drum & bell towers. Kind staff and the clean room included everything we wished for. Comfy bed and zen atmosphere in the room. Too bad we only stayed for one night, would definitely return when visiting Xi’an again!

Nice Boutique style hotel that gives a bed and breakfast vibe. If you have heavy luggage I recommend taking exit H from line 2 metro for the escalators. Amaps directed me to a blind alley towards the back of the hotel which was gated off. Fortunately a random local aunty kindly walked me around 2 blocks to the actual street of the hotel entrance. Staff was welcoming and helpful with any questions. They will look things up for you if you ask and send it to your WeChat. Housekeeping is done daily. Breakfast was decent and free refreshments/ beverages are provided daily which was nice!

The room was a bit small. However, the ground floor and rooftop amenities were good, and the breakfast bar was nice.

Came with my dad but I wish I had brought all my friends and family so they could all experience this amazing accomodation!! Absolutely fantastic experience here, I could not recommend it more! This place is incredibly foreigner friendly with quite a few staff who can speak English and the amenities are beyond outstanding. Even for foreigners who know a fair bit of Chinese like me, it was so easy to talk to all the staff and I felt so at ease. Every picture I took made me think I was nestled in the forests of Japan. From the rooftop gardens, to the tea rooms, to the front communal space, and personal rooms, everything is curated to perfection and tech filled to the max! Expect vintage stereos, vinyl players and projectors at every communal area! All the staff are so friendly and create the welcoming community energy that tremendously enriches your experience in Xi’an. There is also a pub opposite the road for complimentary happy hours, communal hot pots and dumpling making on different nights! I cannot wait to recommend this hotel to everyone I know, and I am beyond excited to bring my family and friends back here!

I loved my stay at this hotel! Super cozy and welcoming. Loved being able to see a bit of local life as I walked down the alleyway each day. Bed was comfortable and the room was perfect for me. And all the staff were very kind and helpful. Great hotel if you’re looking for somewhere central and convenient, with all that you need at a good price.

Wonderful service. Very peaceful in the rooms and common area-very zen design and vibe. Highly recommend.

Really calm relaxing place to stay. Very friendly staff and beautiful communal areas you really want to hang out in. Very calming atmosphere would recommend !

Staff were friendly, and allowed us to check in earlier when we arrived and acceded to our request for our 2 rooms to be beside each other. We booked the smallest room for single guests, and room size was just nice for one person. It may be a bit small for couples or families. The staff were also ready to help change a room when the bidet in the first room wasn’t working. Cleanliness can be improved as we found food crumbs on the table. Other than that, location was ok and within walking distance from Exit D of Zhonglou station on Line 2. Also walking distance to Huimin Street. Breakfast was good and they also provided free drinks, coffee and alcohol at certain timings of the day. They are also generous with water and provide Evian water in the rooms. Will definitely come back to stay if we come back to Xi’an.

Han Tang Inn in Xi’an was truly a gem. The location is perfect—tucked away on a quiet street but still walking distance to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, blending traditional decor with modern comfort. I loved the rooftop common area—it’s the perfect place to relax with tea after a long day. The hostel also offers free activities and a great breakfast. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for a welcoming and authentic stay in Xi’an!

Very nice boutique hotel! The room is small but everything is so thoughtful and clean. For example there’s a little nook you can open next to the socket so you can leave your phone there while charging. They have heaters in the toilet for drying your clothes and a towel warmer. The toilet bowl is heated too! They also give lots of free things. Free mini bar with unlimited Coke / soft drinks, tea snacks and so on.. they also have a tea bar at the top floor. It is abit pricey compared to other places in Xi an but I would stay here again

The whole vibes there is just so calming and relaxing. Xi’an was very hot & busy when i arrived so it was relieving when we arrived to hantang inn haha, workers is very friendly and nice too!

Well set up, great reception with breakfast buffet. Other times there was free coffee and even free cocktail at the pub across the street. Concierge highly helpful with my food delivery, instructions on where to go etc. One of the better rooms in this part of the world. Sink was positioned out of the bathroom but not in an awkward way. Sufficient space for luggage even though the bed took up most of the room. Found tea space and Chinese calligraphy writing spot on the rooftop.
